Great memories from my 9-10 years in primary school when I was in 3Th Grade. I love this song a lot released at the end of 1986 and big success during 1987.
I remember very well this track which was often played at the time and of course the CLIP (as if it were yesterday!) on TV6 channel or the new M6 channel created and replacing TV6 (a channel which only lasted a year!); also in the TOP 50 of canal +.
My dad loved this song which he recorded on a cassette and also played it on the harmonica like the guy in the music video.
At the time, you had to know how to decode the lyrics because I think everyone thought the song was about a romantic breakup when in fact it was about the suicide, that of his nurse colleague and best friend who had just to have a little girl barely 1 year old.
There is a rather subtle phrase which unfortunately evokes this tragic fact never said clearly but barely mentioned, especially at that time when we are still a child: "The morning of one last winter".
It makes me think of Niagara's song "Soleil D'Hiver" (1988).
I remember that she had made another song the same year, 1987: "Cathy prend le train" also directed by Cyril Collard and in the style of a mini film.

De fait, de ton côté c'était visiblement au fond ET près du radiateur; en français dans le texte, on dit : tu es allée à l'école.
De plus, son commentaire est en anglais, fais donc l'effort de faire de même.

@@mlomarechal6877 Ca passe toujours sur quelques radios et chaînes de télés. le titre se trouve aussi sur des compilations 80's.
Et la soi-disant personne qui a écrit le comm a au moins 40 ans car il connaît aussi quelques 80's!
Qu'on soit né ou non avant ou après, tout le monde connaît au moins des chansons 80's! Même les plus jeunes aujourd'hui connaissent et adorent.

@@mlomarechal6877 Dommage! Car elle passait beaucoup en radios et aussi en clip sur TV6 ou M6 (même canal + pour le Top 50). Elle était en même temps que les chansons de Desireless, Caroline Loeb, Luna Parker, "Corps A Corps" d'Images, "Laissez-Nous Chanter" de Gold, "Sauvez-Moi" de Jeanne Mas, "Bababcar" de France Gall, etc.... Ca a été no.3 et resté 23 semaines tout de même.
De plus, maintenant elle est souvent diffusée sur quelques chaînes TV notamment RFM TV (internet, etc...) voire Melody TV.
