There are cheaper units like Bryant and Goodman. However, there are excellent units like American Standard and Trane. They have a very long history of reliable service. I’ve had my American Standard 16 SEER 5 ton 2 stage unit for 15 years. A blower fan motor stoop working 5 years after it was installed. It was replaced under factory warranty. No problems ever since. Make sure you have your HVAC inspected yearly for prolonged life.
If you replace your heat pump or AC you also need to change the indoor coil or air handler! They should always match or you will never get the upgraded efficiency.
Great unit terrible looking install, pad is to small unit is hanging over and they never cut off the black shipping tabs, black pad would also look way better
It is hard to tell because i also have my pool running. But i can tell the difference as my old unit was older and would never stop to try to keep the house cold.
So far this unit has been good keeps the house cold where you located it can cool our house down to 65 and keep it there. When it's 115 out side here in AZ .
@@faridgadimov5955 that’s way too big for a home that size! If you look it up by square footage there’s a lot of info out there. I had mine replaced about ten years ago and asked the HVAC guy about going bigger and he told me why but dang that’s a lot of writing! My home is 2900 sqft and in central Nebraska it only takes 3 ton and our temp get into the upper 90’s low 100’s and the humidity ranges from 20%-65% constantly
@@faridgadimov5955 but normally the humidity is under 15%. I’ve been to Vegas in early spring and late fall, nothing doing! But I’ve spent two weeks in central Georgia in the first of August, 🫠🫠🫠 you leave anywhere with ac and eighteen seconds later your drenched in perspiration, top that with working in a hot factory????? Pure torture!
The house is not that big they just live in airizona so they needed a bigger unit but still probably oversized by a half a ton if it's able to keep it down to 65 when it's 115 out, oversized units tend to not run aslong and turn off after only a few minutes or less which is bad for the compressor

Steve in Florida says that fan motor will rust out in 5 years, poor parts made in China.

All new units must be rechecked 30 days after installing, for any installation issues or corrections 😅😅
The new AC on our house 4 Ton Trane unit.

Quiet, that is actually really loud and annoying.
👍 it's hard to stop a train 👍💯
Trane

That's in a salty investment 😮😮
Why does it look so slow

How many square footage is your home?
1365 SF
Sheesh, a 3 ton would've still been 500sqft more than what you need. It's roughly 600sq ft per ton
@@spyder6423they could have a lot of big windows?
4 ton is a beast
How much is a unit like that go for?
I got mine for $6,600 for the unit and install.
That 4 ton unit would be about 3000 dollars plus labor would be a lot more
