Glad you found this. The few variations I've found on kickstarter, I swear are vaporware, I was beginning to think they don't actually exist! Good to see a real person with one! Definitely thinking about getting one for camping!
@@OverlandFlorida That's MUCH better deal than the kickstarter variants I've priced out. That's completely affordable even just for Hurricane prep usage in Florida, if you have reliable alternate power. Thanks for the details!
It draws between 150 -200 w at least that is what I read from the battery pack I used to run it overnight. 1000W battery last for 5 hours in my situation
The unit does pump out some cool air. But the hose is small and restrictive. So it doesn’t push much air out. You would have to be sitting in front of it to feel anything.
They are Good People. I met and had a long chat with them at CES. As their product has room for improvement, it is a good value in comparison to others.

It’s about $500. So about as much as everyone spends on a 12v refrigerator. Not bad if it’s good enough to last 5 years or longer.

It's not gonna cool down a tent or a car........ You'll be disappointed if you use it for that purpose.
Sounds nice and quiet. My rooftop dometic ac on my campervan is so LOUD that I don’t use it while sleeping. But I like cool temps when I sleep!
This one is definitely pretty quiet.
How can u check the cool air that supposed to cool the inside of an area, when you are outside to get the result temp accurately??
Looks pretty awesome! Let us know how it holds up over the long term.
Will do.

I wish they would make a direct DC input instead of the 12v to 110v back to 12v. That is a lot of wasted energy.
@@michaelblosser5277 the dc input is 24v and agree you loose some during that useless conversion.
That’s pretty accurate on the wattage.
Oh, so it does run on battery ?
Curious, you still have this unit? If you do, how about a 1 year review?
I've been eyeing this AC unit recently. I'm just not sure how I'd power it off grid. I'll definitely be following along to see how you use it!
You would need 1000wh to power it like 6 hours.
It's only 2300 BTUs, I would rather have a wave
Depends on what you want to do with it. It doesn't have the cooling power to cool down a tent, a van, or a car.
I would like to see your review in September of how it lasted through the summer. Greatly appreciate the video.
I’m hoping it holds up. I’ll let everyone know.
@@OverlandFlorida Great 👍
Very cool what size of a power bank did you plug it into it
RockPals 1300w
Would love to see how much it draws from the battery.
Agreed! I kept waiting for him to show us the draw from the Rockpals.
I can totally show that.
270 on highest setting and 120 on seep mode
so I have to have it plugged in to work ? and if not, how much is a battery pack?
Yes it has to be plugged in. The battery packs aren’t available yet.
How is the power consumption on it?...I mean will it kill my battery in a 24 hr block?
I actually just uploaded a video on the power consumption.
You think I could use this for a small room? Does it use too much electricity?
No, you would have to have it blowing directly on you.
So how did it work.for ya in the summer?
Temperature wise it’s about the same. The only difference is the zero breeze has a bigger hose so more airflow.
Would this be enough to keep me cool in a van during the summer without having to crack my sliding door to get cool outside air
Im sure it will, bigger problem is how will you keep it running? One guy said it lasted around 5 hours on his 1000watt

@@OverlandFlorida hmmmm not sure I wanna spend 700 on that
How do you hook the exhaust pipes on this unit?
It comes with adapters that snap to the front and back.
I do woodworking in the summer in a single car garage... do you think a unit like this would fare well in a space that size?
Only if you are standing directly in front of it.
This is not going to cool your single garage for sure
what power bank are you running?
RockPals 1300wh
So has it been reliable?. Any issues?. Thanks.
It’s been reliable. But it’s doesn’t push a whole lot of air.
Do you have link for where to purchase unit? Great Video!
They either sold out or currently stopped since it’s winter time.
Link is in the description.
Thanks
What is the Current or power required?
110v outlet.
I wish they would make a direct DC input instead of the 12v to 110v back to 12v. That is a lot of wasted energy.
Still running good or is it trash
It still runs. But doesn’t push a whole lot of air.
Is it 12 volt?
There’s an optional 12v battery pack you can buy. Otherwise, it’s 110v.
Actually is 24V
POWER IS ACTUALY 700 WATTS
That is the cooling power of the compressor the unit it uses max 200W when it runs
I just uploaded a video about the power consumption.
$700!?!?! No thanks!
It’s less than that with the code and discount.

No usefully info 70 something outside plug it in and it’s blowing 60 some air. Wow.🙄
