  • How to make a powerful mini freezer - Portable Mini AC up to -10ºC
In this video we are going to make an ultra-fast portable mini freezer that also serves as a portable air conditioner. It is capable of reaching a temperature of -10ºC in just 10 minutes. This air conditioner works with a 9v battery and is perfect to carry in your car, for your caravan and to go camping now that the heat is coming.
    Thanks for watching us!

There is a good layout for studying the theory. But, on large spirals from below under the base, tubes are imperceptibly soldered to the refrigerator compressor. Therefore, in a transparent tube, the movement of gas in the form of steam is not even visible. The compressor in the video is only capable of blowing bubbles in the aquarium😂

It's a momentary freezer. After several minutes, the gas (isobutane) will warm up and will no longer cool the air surrounding the tube. To regain the low temperature, the gas must be recompressed. There must be a compressor and a heat exchanger. Your stuff is just a toy.

You've made a good demonstration of how a fridge works, but this wont work as an AC. Why not?
Well, the way an AC works is by compressing one side of the loop and this in turn heats it up (think of the needle of a bike pump getting hot as you inflate a tyre). This side of the loop is usually outside of your house/car, and since it is now hotter than ambient you can use a radiator and fan to cool it down. When this high pressure cooled (to ambiant) air passes through the capillary, the pressure decreases and the temperature drops as shown. So whats the problem and why wont this work?
    1. The hot and cold side are not separate and so any cooling effect in the smaller diamater coil will be matched by a heating effect in the larger coil. No net cooling of the room.
    2. I suspect most of the cooling effect observed here is actually coming from the high pressure air from the aeresol can entering the system at a much lower pressure. You will see this whenever you use any aeresol spray. After this system runs for a while and reaches equilibrium, i doubt the air pump will be producing enough of a pressure difference in the hot and cold side to reach anything like those temps - which doesnt matter anyway because point 1.^

If you chill the entire unit in a freezer before filling with isobutane, you can load it and have it condense into a liquid to make the filling easier. Very cleaver way of using the isobutane can with adapter and large 16 gauge needle to fill the vinyl tubing. Silicone tubing would last longer without leaking as much or drying out and cracking. Further separation and thermal isolation of the cold and hot side would result in more efficient performance. Also a wall adapter to power the unit instead of a single use primary 9vdc battery // etc
