Going through the Cameras just to see the dog casually phasing through the fence and just going to the next camera was funny as fuck.
The real horror in this game is that every time he went to use the bathroom, he forgot to wash his hands!
Proceeds to piss on floor and leave it like nah ain't my house lmao
And ate the pizza with THOSE hands...
i got so used to the "teehee sneaky subtle shadow slinks just out of view" horror that when that one lady straight up charged you i nearly browned my trousers.
I love that the dudes feverishly annihilating an entire pizza while being paranoid about home invaders.

The first jumpscare scared the shit out of me. Pretty good job with the extensive buildup with the dark atmosphere, eerie ambience, surreal tv shows and security cams all woven in between random mundane tasks.
I find it scarily accurate how the “intruder” is a disheveled looking woman wielding a knife because I’ve heard a lot of stories of people who were under the influence of drugs breaking into people’s houses

@@datdude5886 Drugs have a strong influence by almost completely desabling inhibition.Yes there's an argument to be made of one's self awareness and self control being the basis of controlling one's own actions, but you can't deny the effects that drugs have on a persons' mind.
I love the Fear to Fathom series, is glad to see a horror game where instead of supernatural threats, you have to deal with normal situations like this, i just love seeing horror caused by normal humans for a change.
Theres just something so funny about the idea of this guy telling someone about what happened to them and feeling the need to say “and then i pissed in the floor”

Yeah, that's one of the most effective jump scares I've encountered in a long time!
30:52 I was really awkward all the time and this got me a laugh.
I was worried about the dog but fortunally he was fine, I was hoping that Noah put the dog inside the house to at least not feeling too alone, but I seeing all the game, nope, better be outside.
And maan, at least where i live, the houses have bars, and seeing the house being so easy to go in gives me chills. Good game! And that jumpscare at 43:21 really scared the crap out of me, really better jumpscares than the previous 2 chapters.
That jumpscare made me actually jump like 3 inches. Because ABG already seemingly cleared the room and because I hadn’t expected that room to contain a jumpscare, I was totally caught off guard.
hardest i have jumped at a jumpscare in like five years, wel ldone. i thought the text convo storytelling was really natural and well done. seeing the girl through the door crack could have been a really interesting story element but seems like it was just an oversight for the devs which is a shame
This one held my attention. I was going to critique, but this is the way the artist intended on telling their story, so I can't nag much. What was cool was that I can't remember the last time I was effectively jumpscared, but this one worked somehow. The art direction is great and I loved the feeling of the neighborhood, especially being able to get away from the place of alleged danger. Having to return to it made it feel even more eerie. The normie/slice of life styled stuff is effective and a bit refreshing although it's not the first of its kind. At first I didn't really think the dream sequence was necessary especially after realizing what the enemy was, but now I think it was decently abstract sequence to introduce us with. I'm glad the author knew when to end this because it was sort of a buzzkill realizing that the climax was over a meth head woman, lol! That overly dramatic music baked into most of this sequence made it feel like it was going to be a much worse enemy than it was, so I think a evolving monotonous yet still eerie ambient sound would have served it much better. Cool stuff!
I like how when the hand merchant comercial was on, and it shows you the "ok" sign you look away lmao, that's a good one.

I used to work for the Hand Merchant. People ask me what it was like. It was surprisingly difficult. Nobody would ever just lend me a hand when things got hard. I couldn't take it. I ended up having to quit the hand job.

There is some wonky pacing and writing in some parts, but I liked it. I feel this chapter is mainly an extension of Chapter 1’s concept, but that isn’t a bad thing. Chapter 2 was the weakest one so far imo.
