  • How you store your less lethals for self-defense is as important as how you train to use your less lethals for self-defense. Just my opinion.

I love the bump to engage the CO2. In my view, it adds another layer of safety.

      Good point.
The bump to pierce the CO2 is a good safety precaution. (Smile)

I keep my less lethal loaded and ready, but I change out the magazine on my Byrna every two weeks with a new one and empty the one that just came out to give the spring a chance to rest. Same with the LTL Bravo. The HDX I only load to 10 instead of 16 so the spring isn't ever under full load. Plus I honestly don't think at 50 joules I'd need more than 10 at most anyways. Both handheld launchers have holsters to stay in and the HDX has a case it hangs in. This keeps them clean and ready to use when needed. Between my son and I we have 4 less lethal (and one 9mm) in the house and we keep them in different areas so there is always one near by ready for whoever is closest to it. Like you've said before... Hopefully they'll never be needed for anything more that target practice.
It was only 117° yesterday so I understand wanting to get back inside to the air conditioning LoL

      Wow!
      You said only 117?
      Good one. 😅😅😅
      Try to stay cool bro.
And I don't think you'll need more ten shots at 50 joules.
I know that I wouldn't want to get even grazed with one!
      (Shot placement is key.)
Sounds like you're good to go for whatever may come.
Changing out your less lethals mags so the springs don't lose tension doesn't sound like a bad idea also.
The magazine springs in most less lethals don't seem as durable as the magazine springs in firearms.
      Thanks for watching.
      Stay safe and healthy.

      Not perfect by any means.
I'm just trying to keep me and mine safe.
And if I can help others who are trying to do the same... Amen.

Redzone 101, I have a HPA tank attached to my Mission 4. And all I have to do is push forward the air valve, switch from safe to fire and I am ready to put rounds downrange.

    • @redzone1019
      @redzone1019  Před měsícem

Sounds like a really nice setup you got there.
If I was already invested in HPA airguns, I'd consider getting one of those tanks for my Mission 4.
Who knows. I still might do it.
      😅
How many rounds do you get with your present setup?
Was it difficult to put together?
With my 90 gram CO2, I'm getting three to four usable shots.
      Thanks for watching.
      Stay safe and healthy.

@@redzone1019 I can fire at least 4 mags. I have a 10ci tank attached, but I also have a 13ci tank on my other less lethal.
