@@definitelynotexperts Big problems started way before he left. It started when Barcelona sold brazilian Neymar for a record transfer fee of 222 million euros and couldn't replace him. They wasted the cash on big name players that turned out flops in a Barca shirt. You can notice that decline as the video plays. And then Covid was the final hit to Barcelona finances. Covid = no games = no fans paying the ticket to watch the match and no money from TV rights
I remember when Nemar got traded. It was huge and also one if the biggest deals at the time right? I just didn't realize they played for the same team. That's wild.

what makes messi the greatest is just as said in the video, there is no player that is top 3 of all time in goalscoring, dribbling, and playmaking, no player except messi that is, he is the greatest playmaker of all time with most number of assist of all time, he is the most consistent and the greatest dribbler in the world for the last 15-17 years, and he is one of the greatest goalscorer of all time, his goal number is just behind ronaldo a little bit but to his advantage he is 2 years younger and played way less games (100+ games)

Pulling isn’t legal but if the referee determines that the team in possession would have a better advantage by keeping the ball in play then he’ll play advantage instead of pulling the play back and stopping it. Allows the game to flow

7:47 THAT is NOT LEGAL but There's a Rule Referee can enforce called PLAY ON or ADVANTAGE. It means EVEN if the Player with the ball is Being Fouled , If HE doesn't GO DOWN & still Has Posession of It or His Team has Possession of it, REF gives the Advantage to them and Doesn't Blow the Whistle to stop the play. It is One of the reasons you see Players Go down or Stop when being Fouled Like this , to Register the Foul & Hope REF gives a YELLOW CARD to the Player who commit the foul. If that same player gets a 2nd Yellow card , It's a RED CARD & is SENT OFF and the OPPOSING TEAM will Play with 1 LESS MAN , BIG ADVANTAGE for the Team that got FOULED.
Many times some PLAYERS FALL without much of a contact to Trick the REF into giving YELLOW or RED CARDS to opponents, They use Falling as a tactic. Though Many People do not like this , it's part of the game.
I see USA people complain why do they fall without much contact sometimes?? Means They don't know it's a tactic. I don't like players who do that but it's part of the game.

Oh wow. This is very interesting. Kind of like a natural zone infraction in the NFL. If the defensive player gets back out of the netrual zone before the ball is snapped there's no foul on the play. But if an offensive lineman reacts to them being in the natural zone, it's a penalty. Pretty cool ngl.

Also , The Player Trying to Trick the REF by FLOPPING is also at RISK because if the REF catches him Doing it for No big reason , FLOPPER himself would get a YELLOW CARD 😂. Players do it at their Own Risk. That's why Half of them Don't don't it, The other half DO , which we fans ourselves do not like and gives a bad reputation that EVERYONE FLOPS in FOOTBALL to the few Countries that don't Have football culture. If they properly watch the game , they'll know sometimes it's necessary to Fall/Stop for Ref to Give Foul and Sometimes Players Fall as dirty tactic (at their own risk) to get Opponent players SENT OFF or win penalties. FEW years back Football introduced Video Assistant Referee (VAR) so that Field Refree can Check Visuals so it's become Easier for Referee to CHECK trickery & Check b4 giving Serious Decisions like PENALTY etc.
This honestly provides a lot of context to flopping tho which I find very interesting. However, I feel that they should just call the penalties regardless. That way there's less flops and more consistency. But that's just me.
