19:19 i watched this final live at the stadium. It was one of if not the craziest experience ever. The way everyone got out of their seats when messi recieves the ball, doesnt matter if its next to the goal, or at the half way line. And the thing is every time he did recieve the ball he did something special. It also felt amazing watching him lift the trophy and celebrate you could tell he wanted it.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I was genuinely one of the few people that had Argentina as champions before the tournament started. I was saying it from months before cause I just knew Messi would turn up. That assist vs the Netherlands or the assist vs Croatia, pick one… they’re both 2 of the greatest assists in football history. Then he won the BEST football match in history at the best world cup ever. He never needed a world cup to be the greatest, at least for people with brains, but now it’s undeniable.

Yrs later he won Copa America against Brasil. Months later they faced Italy for the Finalizzima and also won it. His haters always kept talking crap saying he’s nothing without the WC. Months later on Dec. 18 2022 he helped Argentina reach the finals and were able to beat France, considered The Best Football final in history. Proving a lot of his haters wrong.
