I had the pleasure and honour and privilege of working with Annie in a studio back in the 80s for a couple of days. I was a talented multi instrumentalist but not a famous one at the time. Annie was so gracious, kind and friendly. She really touched my heart. So happy to see her and hear her still amazing voice. What a beautiful human being. ✌️❤️🇬🇧

Annie looks and sounds absolutely awesome. Her voice hasn't lost a bit at her age, it's incredible. A voice still as deep as the ocean and as clear as a bell. She still is one of the greatest female vocalists of all time. She rarely performs for years and when she do it's for charity, she's such a great person. I wish I could see her in concert. Just awesome!!!!!!

Exactly and when she does, she’s just amazing. I was blown away when a few years ago at the Stevie Wonder Tribute, she did My Cherie Amour. It’s such a difficult song, and she nailed it. She looked absolutely stunning as well.

Love Annie Lennox, she sounds like a blues shouter, it's a good powerful voice. Love great singers. My personal favourite is Elvis. Love a voice that makes you excited, Tom Jones and Shirley Bassy are phenomenal, watch many of their videos, this one is really great!
And here is another one of her famous melodies where when I first heard it I simply couldn't believe that someone was able to create such a wonderful tune. Each of her songs differ and vary so much from each other,-it still is and will be a joy to listen to them over and over again. 2:45 Hearing Annie hit that high note, instantly brought tears to my eyes as if for that very moment, Annie brought me back to the good old 80's. I have had a crush on her since 1984, first time I had seen and heard her. Always loved her sound as she sings with so much emotion.

Almost 20 years ago, I watched perhaps the ending to one of the best films ever made... as I made my way to get up as the credits were rolling (thankfully, I was so emotionally exhausted, it took me a few minutes to gather myself) I hear that beautiful plucking music (Harp?) and then I hear one of my favorite female voices.... I stopped and was absolutely floored... "Into the West" captured the emotional heft and beauty of those film(s) with perhaps the only voice out there to do it justice! I still get chills and near tears every time I hear it. Absolutely beautiful... Thank You Annie for performing that song and you definitely earned that Oscar!!!

Back in 1985 I met the love of my life. Unfortunately, we did not manage to stay together. However, still today there is not a single day I do not think about her. There must be an angle was our song. She is an angle for more than ten years now. She passed away on her 48th birthday as I found out from the Internet six years ago. Every time I hear this song I can hardly hold back my tears. But I still love this song remembering me of the best time of my life.
