I know! They're arguably the two most overlooked siblings, yet the only hint of a relationship we get between them is when Klaus argues against Vanya being locked up. Hopefully Season 2 will have them interact a LOT more!😊
whatever at least they give some attention to Vanya even when she was "normal", where as they have always treated Klaus like crap when his powers are so much more serious and possibly dangerous.
They ignored Vanya cuz they were Rumored to. They have no such excuse for how they treat Klaus

Klaus’s transition from “comic relief” to “tragic backstory” after his trip to ‘Nam gave me whiplash.

i don’t eat children I suppose that’s the point. The drugs made him comic relief and then by having him get clean, the show acknowledges that the drugs were a serious issue. It’s quite a good dramatic technique and kinda almost makes your audience feel bad for laughing at the scenes when Klaus was high.
Klaus was a character I didnt really care for at first. He was my favorite by the end.

Ok but one of the biggest things I want from season 2 is his siblings realizing all the hell hes been through (and goes through on a daily basis) and start to take him seriously
Ikr? They just don't seem to get how hard it is for him and why he takes drugs. He deals with so much shit. Probably worse than the rest of them.

People(Cha-Cha and Hazel) came to the mansion and kidnapped him, he was tortured by them for 10 hours, his kidnappers attempted to murder him, then left him in a motel closet to experience withdraw symptoms with Ben being the ONLY reason he didn't give up and got out with his life- all the while his own family only acknowledged his absence when they went after someone else(when Diego went after Patch); when you think about it they would've at least noticed a bit if someone else was gone even if they know they're busy- but Klaus? No, of course not! No one takes him seriously or gives him the time of day, even Diego casually jokes about a time Klaus literally got so injured that he had to have his jaw wired shut for what was it, 8 weeks? Something that was probably traumatic to him as a child, and he's just casually joking about it??? Like the hell man???
Another thing that really annoys me if hoe Klaus didn't even hold it against Luther for trying to strangle him then throwing him across the room that one time, like uh???? That's not??? How you treat your sibling???? Luther why???
AND THEN he is accidentally forced into a war that he didn't want to fight in and didn't have a choice whether or not he would fight in, and fell in love with someone who lead him to the front lines of the Vietnam War, and his love dies in his arms- he visits the vet center just to see his love again, and some asshat who didn't know any better told him he didn't belong there and wasn't a real vet
OH BUT ALL THEY CAN SAY ABOUT IT IS "Yeah, the ones that attacked us while you were getting drunk.", plus Diego constantly telling Klaus that his issues are lesser because "iVe LoSt 2 pPl ThIs WeEk"
They assume hes fine and almost never ask, they don't take him seriously and constantly directly or indirectly tell him that he's a failure, dissapointment, won't be responsible.. How do they expect him to get better with his drug addiction when none of them even believe in him? (Well except Ben, Ben is a total sweetheart)
ALL THIS, AND IT'S NOT EVEN MENTIONING THE MAUSOLEUM OR THE ABUSE HE LIKELY WENT THROUGH AS A KID DUE TO REGINALD'S SHITTY EXCUSE FOR "" PARENTING""

I love Klaus. He's my favorite character in the series and I think that he deserves much more attention from his siblings than he gets. It was so sad when he was kidnapped and none of them noticed. Even when he came back, no one asked him how he was or what had happened to him. But he has a kind heart and cares about them. When Luther wasn't okay and tried drugs, Klaus tried to warn him and help him. When Diego went after the "bad guys" he saved him and also tried to help him. The list goes on. I just think that he has suffered so much and nobody seems to notice. I hope they take him more seriously in season 2 and show him the respect and love he deserves

It's ironic how the actor himself said he want to do other films after Misfits, then he got a role in the Umbrella Academy who also has the same powers on the character he played in Misfit, where he is just immortal and can see dead people. Klaus and Nathan have so much in common man. Robert Sheehan is such an incredible actor.

When we first see the scene of Klaus in the bathtub where he's obviously sad and shit it hit way too deep. Robert Sheehan did an amazing job portraying that feeling. And his acting after he came back from war was absolutely breathtaking. He's really a god of an actor.

My theory for season 3 is that Klaus will find out Dave’s still alive/had a great, long life; Diego will also find out the Detective is alive. But Allison will find out that Claire doesn’t exist. Then they’ll fight each other about resetting the timeline.
