There's ice on my AC lines! What do I do?

I'm Easton with Western Heating, Air, and Plumbing. There's three things you should do if you notice ice on your AC.
Step one:
Turn off the system. This will prevent more ice from gathering on the AC.
Step two:
Check your filter. Most times the filter is the cause of the ice buildup on the AC coil.
Step three:
Check and see if all of your vents are open. If there are some vents that are closed, it can add a back pressure in the system that'll allow ice to collect on the AC coil.
After you've done these three things, the next thing you should do is call a technician. We're happy to help!
