Jimmy Watson has got one hell of a story to tell. He served 17 years on active duty, first with two deployments as a U.S. Marine before getting into private contracting at Blackwater, where he'd eventually rise to the rank of Team Leader and find himself squarely in the sights of the F.B.I. following the events of the Nisour Square Massacre.
From there he'd join SEAL Teams over at SDV off the coast of Hawaii, before eventually pivoting into bodyguard work for one John McAfee - shortly before becoming Team McAfee's very own CEO. Throw in a scandalous dash of crypto trading, a sketchy stint doing in contract work in Columbia, and you've got yourself one hell of a story. Fortunately for us, when it comes to Jimmy Watson, nothing is off limits.

Yessss!!!!! Finally someone has the balls to put Jimmy on!!!
He's coming to Cleared Hot, where Jimmy and Andy discuss their drama!
Can you elaborate more
@@dforgashandy looks like a punk now 😂
I'm sure someone has something to say about Mike Ritland. I guarantee it has nothing to do with not having balls.
@@Swordofmichael333the only punk, is you boy
I can’t believe this doesn’t have a million views by now. CZcams must be hiding it. One of the best interviews I ever heard
I live here in Lexington. Have met this guy. Awesome dude. Was a furniture delivery and John bought so much from our store we had to close down for a week. Went to John’s house. Dude would tip out the wazoo
Actually was nice and so was this guy here. Crazy experience!!
1 of the best 4hrs 1 minute and 3 seconds I've spent on a podcast.
The last 3 seconds was absolutely incredible
Maybe in your whole life😂😂😂
word
Right?!!! Heavy stuff. Great interview and warrior!
I'm one who hates the 2 part episodes and an episode like this, is exactly why. This as a 2 part video, would've ruined the flow of the story. This was a fantastic 4 hours, very well spent! Thanks for not breaking it up.
Mike ......4 hours of this guy is not enough......WHAT A STUD !
I knew a guy from the Vietnam era with a similar path. 3 tours in Vietnam in the Marines. They told him he couldn’t go back again so he got out, went to Rhodesia and served as a mercenary; barely got out alive during a huge offensive. Flies back to the states and immediately joins the Army and serves 2 more tours in Vietnam. Retired when he got his 20 and became a cop. Retired from LE after 20. His name was Ronald Melgaard. We called him “Muffin”.
Guy sounds like a badass
@@brandonshuler7820 He was a walking contradiction. Giant of a man with a voice like Mickey Mouse. Ronnie Lee Melgaard. You can see a picture of him on his obit page if you google SFC Ronnie Lee Melgaard.
Mike you've been getting some fire guests recently. keep up the great content
Dude best podcast I’ve ever listened to! What a ride this entire story! Congratulations to Mike and jimmy you are a hero brother!
Jimmy is an inspiration.
Finally man. Been pushing his name to all the big channels. Awesome interview Mike. Touchpoint!!!
This guy had a great sense of humor
Perfect T Cav impression! You're killing it with the interviews!!!!!
Hi brothers from the USA - I watched this start to finish last night and it felt like a 30 minute chat - incredibly interesting - interviewed brilliantly - watching Mr Ritlands eyebrows rise and then have a chuckle for me says a lot. Best of wishes to the warrior Jimmy. Thanks.
How does this only have 44k views?? Best podcast interview out right now
Wow. One of the best interviews you have done. Thanks man
This was the most insane story ive ever heard. holy shit. GREAT EPISODE!
What a story. Brutal life experiences. Good job sir staying strong. Nothing but respect.
My grandpa was in the navy and he was one of the lucky people that survived the bombing of pearl harbor.
@Last_Chance which ship was he on 🤷🏻♂️
@@ObamaFromKenya I'm don't remember but my uncle knows. I'll ask him and get back with you. I know he told me but he was on several ships during the war and I can't remember which ones
Best interview in a long time. What a bloke!

@MikeRitland thanks for the excellent content and interviews. Love your channel, and super cool hat! 🤘🎸🎸🎸
John is probably still alive. Dude is a genius and has massive common sense.
He is... no doubt
I guarantee you he's still alive
After that Dick Belt Sander story I've got PTSD 😮
GREAT SHOW
Yeah, that was rough and I'm not a guy...
My balls still hurt 😂🤕
@@KBeMaybeare you a transgender?😮😮😮😮
I knew Ritland was gonna tackle that area when he heard about it😅 man when he said shit hurt cuz get hard and than have think of shit to go away😅
This guy gives me the navy seal Theo Von vibes
LOL!! Spot on assessment.
Same
After I heard about the asfvab score I knew he had a brush with the tism 😭🤣
@@user-vi4yp5jt3p he actually had the tism for awhile but he finally grew out of it

One of the best podcasts I've ever listened to. Had a long drive today and listened to the whole episode non stop. Amazing story from Jimmy Watson and an amazing interview from you Mike Ritland. Keep it up!
So glad Jimmy and his story are getting out there to the big shows! What an absolute legend!!
WoW Mike that is one of the best military podcasts I've ever heard, thank you for having Jimmy on
Definitely the most riveting episode yet in my opinion. Thank you for sharing your story!
I’ve been wanting to see him on a podcast for a long time. Thank you Mike for this one
Respect brother. Thank you for putting him on and for sharing your story. Humbling to see a man not scared to show his true self and shortcomings.
WOW… seen Jimmy via social media before , tho this was a deep unpack; filled gaps n voids to facts. Great interview Mike. Jimmy, much respect.
Thank you both, Gentlemen, for the excellent interview! God Bless!
Jimmy is a real dude, thanks for putting him on. Great interview!
Wow Thanks for the interview. I watched all night ! It was the best .❤
Jimmy is an inspiration of denigrating his own brilliance. His actions shout his truth.
I’ve said it before, but I’ve got to say it again. Mike, you are the best interviewer out there, bar none! You ask all the questions we all want to hear!
One of the best podcast I’ve ever seen and definitely your best one yet Mike. In my opinion of course brother! Semper Fi
Very thoughtful and humble responses to Mike' questions.
That was brilliant - thoroughly enjoyed the whole 4hrs! Loved Jimmy's honesty - good luck man.
after hearing the belt sander story, I will never again think I have bad luck. That would be so brutal.
Absolutely awesome podcast. Thanks for sharing
Great episode. Super entertaining. Jimmy's story really would make a great show. I have Mike Drop, SRS, and JRE in constant rotation.
Mike's always had great guests. This was awesome. Keeps it real.
Great pod Mike!! This one was a banger!!!!
Hit this one out of the park Mike.
Best of luck in your future Haus.
My brother is a seal and he is a former sdv guy. I've heard some crazy stories. Those are some tough and pretty crazy men.
JIMMY NEEDS TO WRITE A BOOK ON HIS LIFE STORY!!!
Incredible life this guy has endured, incredible podcast Mike.
This guy is from right up the road from me. This part of the world isn't pretty but some tough SOB's come from around here. This area was the last holdout for the Indians before they succumbed in Palo Duro Canyon. Also, lots of Wild West outlaws ended up in this area. People here are basically assholes for no good reason. I wouldn't be surprised to find out Jimmy Watson was descended from some outlaw from that era. This shit was right up my alley.
I am from Northern Arizona. My Grandpa worked on the Cowboy Crew out there. He's got some crazy stories about working on the wagon in that canyon. He worked at a lot of different Outfits & he said his favorite was that one & working at the R O out here in Arizona. Because where he learned the most on how to be a Cowboy
Great listen, what a story . Jimmy keep fighting the good fight day by day, god bless . Mike great interview as always and god bless . Thank u both for service. WARRIORS!!
The best interview to date!! Thanks guys!
One of your best yet mike!
I’ve heard Jimmy tell his story once before…. But not like this: One of the most powerful interviews I’ve seen in a long time. God Bless the journey Jimmy walked and the strength to share his testimony to God.
Mike: Well done getting these messages out to the people who need to hear them. God Bless you too!
Another good guest fascinating interview. Thanks Mike! 👍👍👍

Well done, gentlemen
This was a real good one, Thanks Mike!
Hands down the best episode you’ve done Mike
Wow insane thank you so much Mike.
It’s currently 4am I couldn’t turn this video off for nothing ! One of the best I’ve ever seen ! Keep it up!
Man. This was the wildest set of stories I’ve ever heard. Legend.
Really interesting so far. About half way through and just finishing up the belt sanding incident. When they are talking about the cheek graft and Mike quips something about blowing yourself…nearly spit out my coffee! 😂😂😂
Wow definetly one of the best interviews ive seen.
I watched a lot on John mcfay and I couldn't find this guy in any photos. I couldn't find any verbal information about him from any of the interviews. John McCrae did none of the shows mentioned this guy if they were that close. Why wasn't anybody mentioning him ever and any of the films in documentaries about John McPhee? I watched 12 of them last night. This guy's not mentioned in any of them.
Awesome episode as always 🙏🏼🇺🇲
Great podcast, second half was deep. Jimmy’s the dude, thank you!
Awesome story and amazing interview as always
Great podcast guy's, loving Jimmy's story. I need more!
OUTFOOOKINGSTANDING STORY!!!! Thank you Mr. Mike!!

Great episode, thanks alot.
This one was great. Thanks Mike. 💪🏼🇺🇸
Dude my whammer turtled to nothing during that D accident story. Also, that was an awesome podcast and story up there with the best!!!
Amazing episode! 🤙
I'm sure the core of Jimmy's following are men but I find his story so inspiring. I pray that God continues to use him in big ways and blesses his new little family I just read about. Great podcast.
Awesome show! I agree one of the best!
Great story awesome show. Thank you both. I also wish I would've hugged and told my brother how much I love him and am proud of him. He was older and he's always with me waiting for us in heaven. Be safe take care. Love and care for each other. Let your loved ones know how much you love them everyday. Never go to bed angry.
One of f your best. Keep it up Mike.
Great interview Mike, keep your hands to the plow Jimmy and God’s blessings to you and yours.take care guys.
One of the best segments yet!! What a story!!
Damn mike you crushed it with this one brother thanks
Heck of a story. He mentioned something to the effect of he couldn't swim once he got to BUDS. I wonder did he make it through one time. Much respect. Continued success Mike.
Wow. Great interview
Outstanding show, Mike!! Jimmy well done!! TouchPoint!
Wow great story and an amazing outcome God bless.
Hey Mike, I’ve watched every single Mike Drop episode and this was by far the best. Keep up the awesome work brother. 🫡
Big fan of Mike Drop, SRS, and other vet similar shows. This one has to be the absolute craziest wild ride I've heard.
I watched jimmy on TT before I deleted the app. What a live wire and great spirit. He may not realize it, but he helped many men with their mental health.
Excellent interview Mike.
