- today we are doing something that's a rarity on the channel! today we are cleaning a metal roof! I had My boy Hasheem come through to help me out with his air soft wash system. I got this lead from Blair Taylor from the Gutter Company and this was a new home owner that is going to get new gutters. we used a 3% mix of sh to clean the roof and it all came out great.

We use a Lafferty Foamer Nozzle. Sticks the hot sauce to roofs pretty well, and just let the bubbles pop and do its work.

The chemical that cleans the roof is pool chlorine mixed with water.

Looks good! Tell those folks to get a pro window cleaning on the outside. Spraying well water all of those windows is gonna dry alot of hard stains on them. Be better to get them off now then down the road.
They'll be okay. They can get that when they're done painting the house
I did 4 last year the key is to keep it wet DO NOT let it dry and you will be good .

Yes. Copper roofs are a no go! They will turn black from the sh. Definitely avoid those

Not a lot since it was 3% probably around 20 gallons for the entire job.
Cliff what's the difference between a air diaphragm pump and a gas roof pump? Do you need a compressor to run the AD pump?
Yea you need an air compressor to run the air diaphragm pump. That's exactly the difference
What's the hose setup? I know what gun that is but that hoe have a 3/8 duick connection with a built in swivel or what is that?
3/4 hose. The gun has a 3/4 outlet too

Yea its a rarity. I tried to decline this one lol the owner was just really interested in me doing it. He just wanted it to be a little better. I haven't done a metal roof in ages , I've been declining them a lot.
