- Today we were tasked to clean a returning customers roof, house, and driveway out in palm harbor FL. I was at this property recently to clean the pool cage and pool deck which the customer loved that she hired me back. 2nd job was a small entrance cleaning for another returning customer. That concluded the short day before the afternoon rain came down.

I was on a forum this morning about roofs and rinsing. Some are adamant and some dont at all like yourself. Why wouldnt you rinse, it stinks and it seems like it makes sense to do so. Is it to preserve the asphat on the shingles? Also, I never see you tape off metal fixtures, have you had problems not doing that? Im thinking about starting and been looking at trailers. I have the money to go all out but I dont think its necessary. I also dont want a rig thats a problem or annoying. Would 8gpm be ok or should I go bigger? Mna I wish you were closer I'd love to hook up and exchange info even hang and help\learn.
I dont like rinsing shing or tile roofs as the solution cleans better when left on the roof. lots of times the algae doesnt just die on impact and if I were to rinse it it would still be green when I leave.
Nah ive never had issue with metal fixtures but if they were to turn colors then theres a remedy for that.
Trailers are a big go to for this industry as most guys like to liberty of hooking up and going to work then come home and take their truck to run other errands. An 8gpm will put you ahead of most and theres no need to go bigger really unless you plan on doing large scale buildings. Most guys aim to end at an 8gpm and majority starts at a 4gpm so id say youll be golden with an 8gpm.

Ag hose. I permanently use 1/2 inch ag hose , have had it for 5 years

When do you use 12v for houses ?
Never. Unless there's a super bad area way up high on a 2 story home. Downstream cleans 95% of the homes 🏡
