- On this episode we completed the biggest rust removal job to date. A whole subdivision rust removal service which included 85 properties. Driveways, sidewalks, fences and curbs. I had my buddy Carey "Ce Foe" Stanley come out with me and my man Chris Bunn with Clean Streak Pressure Washing The project went pretty smooth It took us 2 days to complete the project while using our 12v Lid Sprayers from 4K Softwash.

That was Chris's dolly. The pail sprayer is just strapped to it. The pail sprayer is the seal n lock pail sprayer. That's the one he has

Thanks for the tip of using Occilac acid! I thought it was only used to make patio wood brighter. I was using muriatic acid! I payed for it later though the next day. Couldn’t hardly swallow. Thx bro

what's up Cliff, hey how hot is your downstream mix are you able to adjust it? or is that when you use your soft wash setup for hotter mixes
Mine probably pulls around a 1.5-2% but that's the highest it'll get cause you can only adjust down by adding water to your SH which I never do.
Yes the soft wash system is what I can adjust the mix from .01% to 12.5% full strength
How did you make your estimate for something like this? Did you just eyeball it with your experience or did you have a method?
I actually went out there and measured it.

Thanks. It took me a couple years to get Good and creative. I've used many programs over the years but simplicity wise I think Capcut editing has been the easiest to use. And it doesn't take a lot of memory on your computer.

Chris has the seal n lock bucket sprayer. Its made by seal n lock
Hey pink I will like to know the type of product you use for paver clean and seal, I see you do a job in one day and other people telling me it take three days because you have to make sure it's dry
I use what everyone in the industry uses go clean. Chlorine. But I use deco products silicast. You gotta call them to find your nearest distributor

I wouldn't do it if it wasn't with caution. I'm not spraying carelessly and dousing the grass
Probably still going to brown an inch in.....let them know their lawn guy can dye it it will recover in a couple of months.
@Lukealang haven't had that yet. This was only 2% so it won't do nothing to it. Granted turf is rare here, I've done work around turf maybe 20 times so far
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash I've had it happen a few times using 1 cup to 1 gallon. Some varieties of grass are more sensitive than others so maybe the breed they are using doesn't burn as easily but plants are much more sensitive to acids than bleach.

I didn't. I just charged what I felt I wanted to make and was comfortable with. Still ended up making $750 an hour average 🙃

It depends on how much rust there is.. We were able to do 2 driveways and a 1 sidewalk with a 5 gallon bucket of mix.

Hey cliff , get your self a dolly and strap the bucket to it and 100ft of 3/8 air hose from harbor freight to make that sealing pail sprayer more efficient. I did the same thing works so good it’ll make your life a lot easier brother 🤙
I said my dolly broke in the video lol hahahah I think you missed it. I didn't have time to get all that stuff, the job got approved and we had to start it right away

Lol we would of been successful with a golf cart for sure. But dang those cars were everywhere and we had those walkways to do
That would have been a perfect upsell in the front especially after you did a great job on the interior of the complex, they would have definitely had you come back and do the front, and they would have paid for it.
I've done all of it at this point. I need to go take a ride up there to see if it came back again 😆

That will be a discussion to have when someone is hiring you. This was a commercial job so they asked for many different quotes, full driveways, and partial driveways. If it were a residential customer I would just do the whole driveway but that wasnt the case. We were tasked for certain stuff.

Will muriatic acid have the same results?
Yes but again its gonna be more expensive and also more prone to killing grass than oxalic acid. If we used Muriatic Acid we would definitely have to rinse to avoid cooking the edges of the grass.

The system shuts down the filter doesn't work for the entire neighborhood. So iron water is just spraying everywhere from the sprinklers.

@neftalibaeza2391 80oz you can use a lighter ratio it you have less rust . We had deep rust so we went very strong 💪🏾

@dustinjohnson2116 there's only one kind I've seen and that's powder form. I get the 50lb bags from pressure washer products. But Amazon has it in smaller portions like 1, 5, 10 LB bags.

Our original plan of attack was to make a big batch, use a 12v pump, and run a long section of hose. However, once we got rolling, the 5 gallon buckets were just quick and easy. We didn’t have to mess with hoses getting caught up in landscaping, etc
