Hey Jason, just wanna say your video quality has improved so much over the years. Love the content, keep up the good work 👍
Excellent job guys used same products on ours and it turned out best it ever has thanks agahin
Very professional. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing Jason. Even if I never have a paver job, have a great video to reference to.
Awesome video ! I’ve have learned so much following your channel ! Keep up the great work man!
Awesome!
Thank you for all you do . I am also getting ready to do the breezeway special as well
Great video, best paver video start to finish that I have seen.
Well Jason, l heard you say we a lot but didn't see you doing much work lol 🤣. Came out great . Good job
Any update on sh? Seems like all the stores are sold out and the ones that aren’t are selling a case of 4 gals for $28

Not at this point. I'm still trying to find a decent price also
Great video pal....im thinking of starting my own business so this has been very helpful so thank you.
something that i discovered about a week ago, skip the surface cleaner. Just use a turbo nozzle from start to finish and it rips all the weeds and moss out of the cracks from a single quick pass. I was punching myself for not trying a turbo nozzle sooner, saved me actual hours on a big paver driveway.
Yep I just use my turbo nozzle. Won't find me wasting time hand pulling unless the weeds and grass are THAT bad... which they shouldn't be if the pavers are properly maintained
The problem I have found is doing this way it blasts so much sand out, that it can actually sink some pavers after doing it multiple times…but I still do it 😂
Thank you sir
Great video bro, love the sh for weed killer, im like a 11th grader waiting to go to hs prom with this expo coming up, honestly im excited I get to meet my mentors in person so blessed, hope everyone can make it.
Yes im in the desert and many people have rocks as their front yard landscape and 99% of the time there is weeds everywhere in between the rock
Super good vibes. Thanks for the detailed info and guidance. you guys rocked that out!!!
Turned out great. How often do you re-sand pavers after pressure washing them? Do you have it as an upsell option or do you do it all the time?
With the sealer do you recommend going over it with a roller too or just spray it and leave it?
would you use a roller to apply the sealer instead of the pump sprayer?
Per SF how much should it cost to clean and seal pavers? What if I clean the pavers myself and resand?
Y’all must be pretty tight. Like Abbott and Costello up there. That look he gave you when you told him to start at the other end was priceless 🤣
a tip: watch series at flixzone. I've been using it for watching loads of movies these days.
@Ricardo Jordy definitely, I've been watching on Flixzone for years myself =)
Can this all be done in one day? I was told that you need to wait (and let it fully dry) before you seal it! I would love to do the job in just a few hours as opposed to a two day process. Not sure if I missed you saying how long the process took or not. Thanks!
How much would one charge just to wash the pavers. Where I live folks mostly just want them washed and I'm curious what to charge. Also if one was to do the wash sand then seal what would the whole project be. This would be a great addition to surface cleaning. Just not sure how to charge
Does the patio get slippery after you seal it. I have a similar patio and the pool is next to it. I would love to seal it, but I don't want anyone falling and getting hurt.
What psi you hit them pavers with?
Jason, whats a good starting point to charge for washing and sanding pavers per square foot?
I have a question ? I surface cleaned a paver driveway,.I noticed I took off some sand because I have a 4gpm at 4000psi system, was I suppose.to apply sand back in it ?
Hey Jason I have a tip to make this job more efficient for you. Believe it or not I used a 2100 PSI 1.2GPM Electric (LOL!) machine to do the same amount of surface at my house. I got all the grass and weeds out of my patio and cleaned most of the grime with a turbo nozzle alone. First I sprayed SH everywhere, then I used the turbo nozzle on the cracks. Finally I finished off all the rest of the stains with the surface cleaner
So yeah the take away from my experience is that it would be more efficient just use a turbo nozzle on the cracks and then finish with surface cleaner. Might even be better to do SH last and just let it sit in all the cleaned away cracks then come back hours later to rinse it off so the greens are killed for sure.
Only problem I have with the turbo nozzle is sometimes they don't get the weeds out. You cut them off at the top but if you look down into the rates are still there
with all of that SH flooding into the grass how does it not kill the grass around the borders?
I think brooming more off then using the blower is a better technique because you had to let it dry again before you went back and took off more deposited sand.
Hey Jason, just watched some of your videos for the first time and was pretty pleased with the step by step process. Keep up the good work! Was curious on how much you bid out the patio sealing job without the house washing included?
yea.... ill hire some one to do this lol
could you clean pavers without having to seal them after? I just got my first paver cleaning job and just trying to get info on it. Thanks!
Curious as to the model of your surface cleaner. If you don't mind sharing.
What a difference
Hi is there a way to make your pavers look more new, like a sealer. Would that brighten them up
Is the bleach (sodium hypochlorite) diluted and how long do you leave it on?
DJ done good 😉 Did you keep the deck, hot tub etc. wet during the bleach and sealing process? I don't want to be buying anything!
What %SH did you all pre-treat all that grass growth with?? Nice work, love ur videos!
how many days did it take you ?
Hi ! My contractor sanded and didn’t use a leaf blower only a hose to remove the excess sand. Now I have a haze over my pavers :( What can I do to safely remove the haze and restore the red color? It’s settled in several days now.
Not much of anything. Other than stripping it and redoing it. That stinks for you. But honestly there's not much you can do about it. This is because I didn't take their time and know what they were doing
Why not turbo nozzle the weeds outs?
What Sodium Hypochlorite do you recommend?
Nice
Are your tshirts bleach resistant. Where can I get sublimation printed shirts that are bleach resistant with a company logo I've found a place in Canada called finprint but would like to find a place in the U.S. any help on this matter would be appreciated
What psi are you running with the surface cleaner? I keep reading online that no more than 1500-2000 psi but just doesn’t seem right to me.
no one will want to fork out for equipment if you only need to do this once every 3-5 years. Here is what you need:
pressure washer, broom, sand, sealant, roller and a tray.
How much did you charge for all that ?
How long from start to finish does a job this size take ? with a 2 man crew
is that the surfactant that creates the suds like that? or do you add soap
@@kingofpressurewash thanks, just wanna say your videos go over a great deal of questions that i had. Im starting up a side pressure washing business and didnt realize how much there is to know. I had a million questions and you answered almost all of them. Thanks again!
That looks really nice. How many hours were needed at that house including the house wash?
It was abut 8 hours and that was with me filming and having equipment failures
@@kingofpressurewash So sealing about 3-400 sqft and washing a 2-3 story house (roof?) How much was the ticket roughly?
@@nickit22 if your doing the sealing above you are at $1.50-2 a square foot.$1500-2000
@@kingofpressurewash just for sealing when using a high quality sealer
How would this job have been different if you used polymeric sand? Would you have been able to skip the sealing steps altogether?
Possibly a dumb question, do you use the same sealer for pavers as you would concrete?
I don't. You could but there's better stuff depending on what your looking for
Hi,I recently made a concrete slab/stepping stone with broken glass for my mom.So to make the stepping stone "pop" and added protection I'm going to put a concrete sealer on it,so yes I would put it on concrete or paver stone.
How did you do it without the sand and dirt in the crack from coming up and loosening the pavers?
I used a special technique to prevent sand and dirt from causing any issues with the pavers.
How do you know if the surface has been sealed before ? Do you need to strip the sealer off ?
If it's older even if it has been said you'll be fine. The one test you can see if it's still feels as if you put water on it to see if it will bubble or not or not
You can apply water and see if it beads up. You can also go look at it in the sun. If it shimmers in areas, you have sealer on it. Mike Kilgore of Trident has the best strippers I have ever used.
What if it is not sealed after sanding? Will that ruining the sanding job?
what is your sh percentage you spray to kill the weeds inbetween pavers?
HELP ANYONE!!! I have a 4gpm 4200psi pressure washer I just got rigged up I’m almost done. Do y’all think it will be gravity fed or am I going to have to buy a pump??? Thanks in advance!!!
As an icpi certified residential paver technician never power wash..hand brush wash….sweep in blow off ..gently wet down ..and whoever built it did a bad job and those big gaps are a major red flag 🚩
Someone needs to introduce a DJ or BJ to this thing called a funnel.
I'd let the customer know it's going to take two weeks. Because I'm gonna spray the weeds with weed killer, then let it work for two weeks. Then when you come back they're all dried up and all you gotta do is knock them off with a weed eater real quick, then blow it off, then do the pressure washing and sealing without ever getting on your hands and knees.
That's such a waste. And risking killing the lawn even more than needed. Pavers are laid on top of a cement base. So the grass is in the pavers themselves. Take the time and do it right and make one trip instead of making a customer move their schedules for your method. Surface clean first to get all the built up things on top of the grass that can't easily be removed. Using hydrogen peroxide or chlorine will kill the grass spores, mold, anything bacterial. Then turbo tip out the grass. If you see any long grass pull it out and run through it again.if yousand the pavers correctly, not flush with the corners and no holes or empty joints it will be fine. Once youseal it and make sure all the joints are flooded with sealer properly. It will waterproof it and whatever remenant of grass at elect willrecienve no water or sunlight and die before it can grow out of sand and sealer.
Do you think companies do better up north or in the southeast?
Well, I guess it depends on whether they prefer snowstorms or hurricanes as their main source of excitement!
what surface cleaner did you use?
sodium hypochlorite is the chemical name for household bleach. He let that slip at 5:36
What's an estimate for this?
You put a shinny sealer before the sand has been totally cured, I don't know about that how will work over time
You should run the compactor on it after putting the sand, so it gets down to the bottom of those cracks vs sitting at the top.
@@kingofpressurewash didn't see - but was it polymeric sand? The kind that cements when wet?
@@MrPhatties it has a glue in it so when you wet it it hardens you have to be real careful and make sure all excess is off the stone or else it will stain
Wait so you're saying DON'T leave furniture and stacks of debris on the patio?
Don't spill that stuff in the lawn. You might kill some dandelions. Ha! Final product looked great!
I cannot believe what I'm seeing. This guy is on his hands and needs pulling weeds but still the joints aren't clean. Bulging joints and Unfilled joints. This fella has not understood that you have to clean out your joints 1-inch before you put down any sand. I really hope he takes the time to understand that he needs a turbo nozzle and he needs to clean his joints out properly because what he's doing here is ripping people off and giving them a horrible horrible job that will not last. Will fail almost immediately. Glad he's using an interlocking sealer. That is a plus. But he is not properly installing the sand. He should not be wetting it down watering the sand. He should know how to sweep it off and get the sand down below the paver with a push broom and regular Brum. And then blown off the excess. I hope he gets better,
“we use a chemical called sodium hypochlorite”
So… household bleach.
Bad advice to mix in the street or on your customers grass. You mess up the street and the grass and it’s not cool. The neighbors get mad at your customer and killing your customers grass is BS. Put a tarp down protect your customers property grass and plants cost money.
Making your employee crawl around to dig out grass and moss hahahahaha, to be a huge company you should really know what a turbo nozzle is. check them out might take the “suck” out of ur day.
My brother says we a lot drives me nuts.
Why not use a torch for the top to kill weeds and then use a weed killer to soak.
Less work well looks like you're doing the We part and the worker is doing the work.
I was once told by this old timer you don't get a big belly by working hard
You get one by saying weeeeee.
Would have been nice to see more of the actual job and less of your face, tho. Thanks.
Hey, Jason you need to work on your presentation. Your presentation is bias and only addresses the side of the contractor, you, when it comes to making $$$ on the job! Your “CZcams”video should be informative to homeowners and less about the contractor protecting his backside in making money on the project! Speak more on what your proposal covers, so the homeowners expectation are aligned with your pricing. Leave out all the personal comments regarding your co-worker!
what a load of rubbish! you are using a leaf blower so how much does that cost? also, those sprayers cost £250 as you have to get one that doesn't block up with sealer.
What % sodium hypochlorite do you use on pavers and is it safe if it dries on it before i surface wash
I literally just put a bid on my first sealing job. This has been very helpful.
Awesome hope you get it
