I have a mental image of Gumiho receiving a physical letter in the mail while in his barracks. It’s the latest SC2 patch notes. He lays down on his cot with a pen and paper and starts writing a build order.
Years later he unpacks his military stuff at home and boots up his computer. He unfolds a small book of build orders and starts to queue up on ladder. He smiles.
Fantasy did it against Rogue, this is the greatest form of terran 😁

You had me at Battlecruiser. Edit: Gumiho striving for even battlecruiser numbers at all times soothes my OCD.

Solar's reaction when GuMuho gets out with the BC last second at 12:38 sums it up really well how he must be feeling...
That was super fun to watch. Seeing BCs have their guns going for minutes straight is righteous

I was a silver scrub for years. All I did was mass bc and it either worked or failed completely haha

The BC is the most iconic unit in starcraft, it's one of those things that if you see someone go for them it's a good match incoming.
BCs are incredibly fun to watch.

Welcome back! The game is honestly quite refreshing to play and lots of fun. I personally had a period where I didn’t play anymore and the game felt stale, but am enjoying it very much lately!

Watching the CC full of SCVs at 7:12 slowly burn down was painful. I get that its not the end of the world but thats 650 minerals lost for no reason

That is the sickest play of BC rush this year by far.

8:30 when he F2 all of his swarm hosts into tank fire looked so painful.
Solar is a real gentleman, he saw at 4:54 that the enemy was going to BC, and only at 8:20 the first corpators flew out, gave the terran 3,5 minutes, on the ladder any platinum will give you no more than 2 minutes from reconnaissance to ready koraptors

i remember in the past weeks watching gumiho holding a roach rush by focusing in the lings instead of the roaches, does anyone remember the oponent or the match?

Gumiho's run this season was remarkable. 2 reverse sweeps and an almost another one with Ragnarok in the semis. Too bad he used this double BC rush strat in his last game.

How is zerg supposed to defend this, in a law diamond league?
now i never really see anyone do this, but why wouldn't you save up 2-4 mules and drop them during the BC tele into the base. that way once they get kinda low you can repair them and force more units to suicide into them or give the BCs a bigger window to deal a lot more damage. works really really well in my games but im not really high mmr
Better players might just FF the Mule and then you lose like 100 minerals you could've gotten at home ;0;
There are a bunch of roaches and zerglings sitting around doing nothing during the attack, you drop a mule and its instantly dead
@@totallynotminx4682 if the bcs stay longer and cause more and more damage they will easily be over the value lost in mining. Like I said I usually don't drop them mules for repairs in their mineral line I fly slightly of vision drop them and get all if not almost all hp back and fly back in

Poor zerg, so gimped from the very onset of SC2. Devourers, scourge and oldschool hydralisks would have fixed this in a hurry.
Last game z shouldnt tried to end the game. Build more queens and play safe.
