    i love that you're not a salesman. the world has enough of them, and they won't keep my family safe if for whatever reason i'm not there to guide them. the world of motorcycles has different tiers and some kids try to write checks their asses can't cash simply because they have the money and don't know any better. that usually works out in cars, but is fatal on bikes, and i'm glad there are people who value integrity over profit. thank you

    Jesus Christ man! I sold my 06 blue and yellow 1000rr about 6 months ago to get the rest of the money I needed for my Ducati 1198s. Love the Ducati and it handles better and is WAY crazier to ride but I can't help but miss my Cbr lol never felt that way about any other bike. A month or two from now I'm definitely picking up another. If you get a low mileage blue and yellow in on trade hit me up. I'm willing to go anywhere in the us if it's in good shape and has low miles. Great vid man!

    i mean, depending on the cause i've heard you can come back from a tank slapper... if you fight every self preservation instinct your body has and let go of the grips, thereby letting the front end sort itself out without you transmitting the vibrations through your body to the seat and rear end. if you can think of it in the couple of seconds it takes and you have the presence of mind to do something your body absolutely does not want to do. lol in other words, good f'n luck.

If you can't do chin ups and hold yourself mid up and down, you cant hang on to it so you cant ride it. Or it will just take off without you like the road runner and wile -ye coyote.

      Cory Brott as a new rider? How old are you, because if you’re likely to want to show off to your friends, this ain’t the bike for you - it will kill you without hesitation.
      Want a sporty starter bike? KTM RC390 or a cbr500r or cbr650r at most. I own one of these and whilst it is docile for a superbike, it makes a riding school 600 look like a Honda cub. No abs, no traction control and it wants smooth inputs or it will put you into a wall.

      steady cruising people learn with, maybe, 30-50HP on a cuddly Yamaha or Honda 500 or 600 learner bike that forgives every snatched throttle.
      A CBR1000RR goes from 30 to 70MPH with a minute crack of the throttle in first, second and third. Big panicked inputs will put you over the bars. Yes, it’s docile enough if you respect it, but ride it like a 125 and you’ll be dead in a week. That’s not opinion, it’s statistical truth.

      Yep. $3,800 for a '98 Superhawk (a bike that's only worth around $2800 mint in my not-far-off area). Salesmaned lmao

    Awesome review!! I love how honest you are about the bike. I own this exact same motorcycle and it's so true how the power MUST be respected! Check out my walk around if you get a chance. Keep up the great honest reviews!! czcams.com/video/WUvkMIi8IKc/video.html

    You say the most negative shit 👎🏽 about bikes. Let people make their judgment without the bias opinion of how dangerous you think a bike is based on Cc’s. I bet you’d have no problem selling a 600cc to a Entry level rider, whats the difference from a 1000cc? Literally a 30mph difference. They both will kill you. No ones disputing that. Stop thinking the worst saying these bikes are meant to only kill people. Lol

    Worst review I ever seen, I'm not trying to be an asshole but wow... How about comfort etc? I think I'll find another review.

    • @cybertrophic
      @cybertrophic Před 5 lety

      KareliaRussia for a 1000cc race bike with plates? Comfort is ok - surprisingly roomy, but it’s still a race bike. If you’re tall you *will* get cramp, if you hit a pothole, you will hammer your testicles through your eardrums, if you lose focus whilst riding it *will* bite you.
      That said, I’m over six foot and I coach rugby (so am not skinny) and it fits me ok, but it’s no GS or Goldwing for long distances.
