@@garagefirestudios9802 I did measure these 2. For Mothra, it's complicated, NECA has bigger wings than SHMA, but the body is a complete opposite. I am not even joking when I said that. You're not gonna fit the SHMA on NECA's stand because...she's too big to fit there.

Yeah...this set looks extremely underwhelming for $100+ bucks. I wouldn't mind paying maybe $40 - $50 for Rodan alone, he's definitely the winner here, but that Mothra looks like straight trash. NECA's is far superior IMO. They have much better detail, even given for how small it is. And the cocoon base is a lot more creative. Especially considering it was only $25 in comparison. Usually Monsterarts is the one outshining NECA when it comes to hyper micro-detail in their Godzilla figures. They certainly won over NECA with G19. I dunno...I'll never understand some of the Monsterarts elitists who defend them to death and crap on NECA's Godzilla efforts. I collect from both, and I think NECA and Monsterarts are both fairly competent with each other and have something to offer for Godzilla fans & collectors.

Thats a real shame... Rodan looks great despite the less than stellar paint apps, but Mothra... Miss Floof aint lookin so floofy :/
Ugh, just as i thought, i prefer Neca Rodan/Mothra, both standing on my shelf, accurate, nicely painted and not costing tons of cash.
I mean, NECA Rodan is dinging on his stand, they did a bad job on that, but other then that he seems pretty accurate, i would prefer to have that type of tail the SHMA one has, and more articulation options. But the figure is juicy, and has amazing paint job, i still wonder how they manage to paint those eyes?
I won't even talk about Mothra, SHMA version looks like cheap plastic toy for 5$ rather then licensed stuff. Why those colors are so saturated? Wings, are they make them with crepe? urgh...
For that kind of price, it's a let down, and definitely not worth in my opinion.
PS. Just look at those SHMA stands, laughtable pathetic lmao

Stability? Yes. But visual wise it's just a simple piece of cheap plastic, without any kind of creativity.

It's the painting mostly, for me the Necas Rodan looks like lava. SHMA is just too red, like it's just drowned in one tone, and then they splashed some darker colors without any care for the details. Even the eyes looks cartoonish...
On Neca, the bruises and any other marks just stand out from the rocky reddish texture of his wingsand body, not to mention if you set the rodan with some ligh behind, the figure seem translucent, the small red/orange bruises shines, not sure if that was intentional tho.
Articulation is superior on SHMA, but as i say, it's the looks, the figure is standing in my shelf, so the nice looking stand and nice looking Rodan is enough, i wish Rodan has more moveable parts, stand stick is the major flaw on this figure, since he can't click the figure itself, and the Rodan seems pretty unstable on it.
Ivraas I get why you think the Neca is more accurate but if you take a moment to google "Rodan 2019 Render" you'll find he was actually REALLY that red in the movie, the weather affects and lighting just hid it well and made him appear a lot darker than he actually was

So the main body of the cg model for Mothra has white and that orangish brown to it. Neca went with white and Monsterarts went with that orangish brown.

Zane the imposter from both a paint app and durability standpoint its true. My MOTHRA fell from a nearly seven foot shelf on her wings and was fine. Of course I can’t comment on how SHMA fragile/durable is since I don’t have it in hand

No she is not. Her body is mostly white and brown and her wings are orange and a few other colors but just not blue. If she is not intimidated her wings go blue if I’m correct. But most of the time we see her she is not blue
