The TALENT of Jeff Foskett. Playing those cello triplet/sixteenths on the guitar while carrying so much vocal work is no small task.
I was there, in the crowd, sunshine, beer in hand, that memory will always be there :)
Okay I know it was because he was nervous in front of that big crowd but watching Brian scurry off stage super quickly like that was fucking hilarious.
He did that all the time
I was there! Amazing gig. It had rained loads on the Friday and Saturday. Sunday comes along and the sun was beaming for this amazing set.
I would kill to have been there. 😍
i was there too! it was perfect....
Love to see Brian smile!!!! Warms my heart. May he smile long and strong!
I was there. It was my 'Glastonbury Moment' of 2005.
Thank you for the music Brian!
The legend is there and the band is amazing
Great
Brian = musical genius .
One of the most joyous performances I've seen. Top Class
Outstanding musicians
Currently, Brian Wilson can barely move. And compared to this set, now he looks like a statue sit on his piano.
But there's a special vibe when seeing him on stage with former Beach Boys Al Jardine.
I saw them almost four years ago in Acapulco, Mexico. Just picture The Beach Boys stuff played on the beach at a hipster festival. That was rad.
Al is still very good also
@@stevenhughes6903 He still got it, indeed
I want to watch Michael Jordan dribble a basketball forever. Legends have nothing left to prove.
1:19 Carl Wilson
This gives me chills, more awesome now than ever. Feel like I'm hearing the music the first time, though it's over 50 years. Wow!
🎶🎵🎶🎶🎵Love you Brian 💕🌼🌺🌸
Amazing performance of a song I’ve loved since a child
3:25 "Shit !! Sorry boy !" xD
Gotta keep those lovin good vibrations happenin with him !
Saw them In Charlotte, N.C,, what a wonderful joy it was to see them finally. Thhey had an East Coast band playing Beach Music,
The Beach Boys were the West Cost Beach Music.
I was there :)
Incredible song, amazing memories, nostalgia overload! Letdown? Plenty.
Good Brian
I was there! 😁
Me too I was on camera 3 times
❤!!!
Awesome
Bringing dat so cal vibe too the masses
Say no to drugs, kids.
In a very weird kinda way, Brian reminds me of Liam Gallagher, as least as far as In two ways.... Both can be just completely static whenever they're performing, yet the make an incredible noise! And then they both just sorta "let the music do the talkin," so to speak. Love em both!
Comparing a visionary like Brian to anything to do with Oasis is just...no.
Wilson was a genius in his prime. Gallagher is not fit to be mentioned in the same breath.
@@SwingRiots stfu there's a reason why LG gets voted up there with the greatest front men of all time..FACT
@@SwingRiots Especially after what Noel said about Brian. Lost all respect for any further commentary Noel has on any music in general after seeing that interview. I'm still lost for words 😒
Brian came first!
I was there man my girls on my shoulders in sloop john b . Just as it says this is the worst trip I've been on
compare this to liveaid he did the same year and he seems like a completely different person
@@peterfarrabuhk123 Nope, live 8 was in 2005. czcams.com/video/kWTnauLJGTk/video.html
He definitely has on and off days depending on how bad his schizophrenia is
0:08 that voice crack was bad
??? Je to perfektní.
I love oldies doing the classics, but this was a weak performance in my book. Great song though.
Yh you can why he weren't lead vocalist for the BB
he suffers with a mental illness called Schizoaffective disorder it sounds very rough from what ive read
@@SomeoneJr Thanks for the context, I didnt know that. He should still probably retire in my book.....
@@SomeoneJr I don't know if he's had it his whole life but it didn't affect his song writing ability
I have always loved Beach Boys..and that's a very long time. Ok ,so Brian struggles but he is clever enough to surround himself which huge talent. And, everyone know he wrote these fantastic and timeless songs. Great!!!
This is a little embarrassing to watch
It's pretty terrible
Why?
Never be embarrassed by such a showing of strength and pride in accomplishment. The voice of Brian Wilson is not what it once was, but the song and the arrangements and back up voices....my gosh, I felt impressed and nostalgic. He's no Spring Chicken...what was his age at the time of the concert?
Brian has been put through a lot at the hands of his father. His life has been riddled with mental health issues and substance abuse and he still had the desire to perform, once more, one of his great songs.
I grew up on a steady diet of Beach Boys and so many others, west coast...east coast, it didn't matter. Just 'good good' music.
Love to Brian Wilson, the Beach Boys and the Wilson Family. They have my prayers and blessing.
this is a great performance
It's fantastic how people can't say a good word... him being on that stage is amazing and strong and very joyful to watch him smile
