I don't really need target painters on my Rattlesnake, sentry drones with a tracking script on will kill all frigates, including elite ones, in one or two shots, easy. Just focus your drones on everything that isn't a battleship and kill the battleships with your cruise missiles.

something to be aware of. If a neut is in a cloaky ship (purifier, t3c, covert ops frigate) They can get to you pretty fast and be invisible, so keep ears open for whats lurking

I would recommend perhaps, fitting some Omnidirectional Tracking Links for the Drones. If the TP are only used for the Drones.

I've been using the gila to rat for a while now but cant seem to increase my isk per hour a by a lot, about two months away from ishtars. would upgrading to a rattlesnake a viable option ?

i think its an option if you do ratting like he's doing, just sitting on a combat site killing everything. if you're doing belt to belt ratting, using a battleship will actually reduce your isk/hour due to how slow they are to warp off. For belt ratting, I think the ishtar is still the best option over gila, but i do use gilas for hard combat sites as it can tank like a battleship.

Guristas rats also deal significant thermal damage, so why not swap one of the kinetic hardeners for multispectrum one, to get also an increase in thermal damage resistance.

Guriata deal damage at an 80:20 split for Kinetic:Thermal due to their heavy use of missiles. Two Kinetic Hardeners is the most efficient protection.

As for the overview, when rattting I use a overview with nothing but rats, players and whatever station I'm using to align and warp to, making sure overview is clear of unnecessary clutter and I spot any neut warping in easy and quickly.

​@@KaserinoMakanen That would only work if the tackle hadent got in range already. Dosent a scram prevent a MJD just like a MWD and regular warp.
