International Flight Transfer at the New Istanbul Airport. We are transferring flights at the New Istanbul Airport in Turkey, one of the world´s biggest airports. This International Transfer at Istanbul Airport video will show you almost in real time how long our Flight Transfer was at the huge new Istanbul International Airport, and should give you an idea of what it is like to have a connection flight or transit at this airport.
We have just landed with a Turkish Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur and now have to make our way through the airport by following the Transfer Signs, through Security Control to the Gate of our next Turkish Airlines flight which will be flying us to Copenhagen. This International Flight Transfer video will give you an idea of just how far the walking distance can be for a connection flight at the New Istanbul Airport in Turkey. The transfer walk through this airport from our arrival gate to our connection flight took well over 26 minutes and along the way we passed through Security Control (not included in this Flight Transfer video) and spent a short time in the main Departures Hall while we waited for our Flight Connection Gate to be announced on the Airport Flight Information Screens. We found the Transfer at the New Istanbul Airport to be relatively easy with good information signs showing in which direction we should walk to reach international connection flight gates. In our case the Flight Transfer was a very long walk which could give passengers with walking disabilities issues. If you have a Flight Transfer at Istanbul Airport and having walking disabilities, you may want to contact your airline or Istanbul Airport to hear what transportation services are available to passengers who have connection flights at this airport. Our two flights for this transfer were with Turkish Airlines.

Wiki writes about the New Istanbul International Airport, "Istanbul Airport (IATA: IST, ICAO: LTFM) (Turkish: İstanbul Havalimanı) is the main international airport serving Istanbul, Turkey. It is located in the Arnavutköy district on the European side of the city. All scheduled commercial passenger flights were transferred from Istanbul Atatürk Airport to Istanbul Airport on April 6, 2019, following the closure of Istanbul Atatürk Airport for scheduled passenger flights. The IATA airport code IST was also transferred to the new airport Once all phases are completed in 2025, the airport will be able to accommodate 200 million passengers a year.

can u pls tell me how long the security queue took? i have a 1h50 for my connecting flight tmr and i am afraid it wont be enough
My husband just traveled through that airport,he said is the biggest airport with the worst management and service. If you have a connection within 2hours you will miss your next flight. You have to walk a lot to find help or guide. (And my husband is a traveler )
It NOT only a airport . Is bigger than hundreds Of City World wide
This airport does have problems, many people loose their connection.. I was not able to get my connection on time from domestic to international. Secondly nobody talks English and are not able to give any help. Thirdly the signs and time announcements are not clear. So their is much work to do.. but one positive thing..I got an hotel from Turkish airlines for the night..
