I know I've said this before but...if Demi's original nose was considered 'bulbous', then there's no hope for ANY of us. She was SO stunning when she was younger, there was something mesmerizing about the proportions and features of her face; she truly didn't need any of the work she's had done.

It's just about what color and shade suit every person.
For some people, due to their coloring (skin, eyes) and also maybe other features and how strong or soft they are (stronger shadows on the face etc.), darker colors or more contrast can complement them better and show their freshness.

Would she/they (I'm using both because Demi uses both) have had this much surgery or done the surgeries when they were done if not for the Disney machine? I don't think so. Hey, just wanna say the best way to use both pronouns (as a fellow they/her) is to use different pronouns in different sentences/clauses, such as "I heard she got Botox injections because they wanted fewer wrinkles." A lot easier than having type both every time!

      @followtheredhat Před 4 měsíci +5

@@sianmilne4879 Thank you I really appreciate that information! I wasn't really sure and I definitely wanted to respect the fact that Demi has expressed preference for they/them and then both they/them and she/her. In a more normal circumstance I will definitely use the pronouns that way in future. I just wanted to be very particular in this case since Demi has been through so much and been disrespected in so many ways since childhood.

Happy new year, Lorry! Thank you once again for being sensitive, tactful, and diplomatic.
This was a very interesting analysis.
As usual, Demi was a natural beauty and probably didn't need any "improvement".
You are quite right to encourage people to really think about the reasons for wanting plastic surgery; and that there are legitimate reasons, and not so good reasons. I think it is too simplistic to assume that anybody who wants plastic surgery dislikes themselves.
It's so sad that Disney insists on children and teenagers conforming to a frankly ridiculous beauty standard.
Regarding the Botox in the masseter muscles, is that the same as for relief of TMJ pain?
Best wishes to you and yours! 🙏💛🧡❤️💐

As far as I know the initial reason behind the lip filler was that her smile became uneven after the strokes she suffered when she overdosed. I can’t cite any source for this though. I also remember it was very soon after her OD that she got lip filler for the first time, so it makes sense. Seeing how she increased the amount of filler, I’m guessing she likes the look, so that’s good.
I don’t mind the rhinoplasty honestly, didn’t know she had it done and I always thought her nose was very elegant. It was a good job done, very slight but flattering. I would never notice the eyelid surgery myself, I think her real eyelids were a classy look on her so it’s kind of a shame. The under eye filler also somewhat unnecessary but I get it. I’m not super convinced about her lower jaw, though I can kind of see it. It might also explain why she looks like she got buccal fat removal only recently even though she always had very minimal buccal fat. Muscle loss makes more sense. I disagree about the breast implant, the 2015 pic isn’t suitable for comparison due to lightings being very different and her one arm being raised. 2014 pic is from a red carpet and the other ones are mostly her insta selfies and of course they look fuller on her selfies. Breast lift perhaps? Also, her boobs did get bigger after 2017. She even made a post saying she finally got her dream boobs thanks to better relationship with food lol. She is also 31 now, so that might be it too.
I always thought she had an ethereal beauty due to her features being very bold and defined and yet super elegant and harmonious. Her face just works even though some of her features by themselves are generally considered to be unattractive. It’s all very unique. I remember being 10 and absolutely mesmerized by her here www.google.com.tr/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fcelebmafia.com%2Fdemi-lovato-soundcheck-for-yan-beatfest-in-vietnam-317085%2F&psig=AOvVaw0xtdzd-lEk7pOS64vd8J6J&ust=1705439689318000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBEQjRxqFwoTCMCcpJyp4IMDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAP

    - You look divine in this top!
    - I thought you did an incredible job of explaining things more in-depth.
    - I love Demi, and I really appreciate how respectful you were talking about her. Most of the time, I see people being very unkind about her.
    - I was excited for this one because I've wondered if she was almost natural until recent years...guess I was wrong! But I can see how she (or her management) were trying to morph her into that "pop diva vocalist" look. I feel sad that the feisty girl at the beginning has been so downtrodden by the industry. You can see it in her eyes. It all makes you wonder who makes the shots when it comes to plastic surgery. Hopefully this new era in her career can help her reclaim some of her original joie de vivre.
    - Overall, I would say that while unnecessary, Demi's procedures apart from the lip filler were subtle and better than some of her peers. She is still recognizable from at least when she started dying her hair black.
    - in conclusion...RIP Demi's tooth gap and freckles!!
