- Just as Star Wars blends elements of sci-fi, fantasy, and various world mythologies, so too does Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon. One of the alien species depicted in Rebel Moon is a winged creature very similar to the griffins of European mythology. This creature is called a bennu and in this extended exclusive clip from Part One, we see it in action as an indentured servant named Tarak (played by Staz Nair) attempts to tame it so that it can be flown.
Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire launches on Netflix on December 22, with Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver following on April 19, 2024.

The sound design in this feels heavy and impactful.
This film looks like it has genuine production values such as costumes, makeup, and scenery.

The best way to sum it up is this film is basically starwars with dune and other inspirations. initially it was going to be a 18 starwars but Disney said no so he been cooking this for a while and turned into a original 2 part film coming 22 dec

The vibe of this sounds super cool. Zack Snyder just needs to cool it on the intense bokeh effect in his films. Its almost too distracting at this point. Kinda like with J.J. Abram's lens flares effects In the Star Trek movies, they got more obnoxious after people praised it at first. They just gotta learn to find a happy medium.
