I have overhead cam Mount and i use my phone cuz camera is better than my regular webcam.
At same time im recording the regular gameplay with my computer, through OBS . Then i put it all together when i Edit . I extract the audio from regular gameplay and sync it to my webcam footage and add background music .

Yep , thats exactly how i Play . There are internet adapters that has Aux input for audio and input to charge too! That one i use doesn’t have the Aux input .. instead i use a Audio mixer connected to computer since i record with elgato capture card with OBS .
