I’m not sure if I said it wrong but I meant the reset option, not the edit one
@ArceSD Hey, I use Build Pro, and I'm super used to that, but im still trash after I do practice maps. Do you have any binds that can like help me?
I’m a big fan of r3 reset bc of resting fingers. I also edit with paddle and switch mode w l3 I’ve heard mixed opinions on that so should I just do what I prefer? Also great video keep it up man!

thanks for the video bro i bought ps5 yesterday and ım trying to learn claw but it hurts my little finger.Do you use ur middle finger for r2 and r1 or do u use ring finger for r2?

If you use your pointer finger to press those buttons then yes that is claw
Great video! I was just wondering what exactly your edit hold time and edit sens are?
My edit hold time is turned all the way down to 0.1 and my edit sens is 2.2

I edit with the left arrow (on ps5) do you think I should keep it the same or get used to another bind? (My switch mode for building is down arrow)
If you play left hand claw then thats probably fine, but if you are using your thumb to press those I would definitely change it
I do play claw but I do feel tho my sense and binds are not quite there I use a console and play Xbox any advice?
I really liked this video it helps a lot not like the other CZcamsrs just giving you sensitive and go on your way but you actually explain what you say. I need help like some settings mean and stuff like that. My main question is what’s the difference between liner and expo
On linear, when you move your joystick its always going to move the same amount, so linear is better for mechanics. On expo, when you move your joystick it starts off slow then speeds up a little bit, so this is better for things like AR aim

Yo I use L2 to confirm edits, triangle to edit, and I don’t use edit or reset on release. I saw sway using it and I’ve gotten really good on it but recently I saw sway switch back to b on Xbox (I believe)or circle on ps5, to confirm his edits. Should I switch to circle for confirm my edits or keep getting better on my current binds ? 🙏🏽
A lot of pros use triangle or circle to confirm, but honestly it doesn’t matter too much I would probably just continue grinding your current binds, unless you don’t like it and want a change

Yo bro! I just recently got paddles and I had a question about building in pvp situations. I feel like I never have time to box my self or the opponent in a fight, or just build for that matter. Any tips?
I would definitely work on boxing up in creative until you can get it down and be quick enough. As for boxing opponents, most of the time I don't even fully box people, I mostly focus on trying to get a a build or two thats mine and quickly going for a big pump shot

i play left hand claw and i have a dual sense edge controler so i have paddles but i dont know what the best button binds foe me are right now my binds are complicated my map and ping buttons arent even binded but i havent changed them because i do good but i feel i could do better with different binds. suggestions?

is l3 switch mode good? i’ve used it for months but i struggle to replace cones in boxes, do you think it’s a speed problem of mine?
L3 switch mode is good and I’ve never heard of this problem, I would try and really focus on getting the muscle memory down the next few days and if you still struggle to replace cones then probably switch the bind

I dont want to risk getting arthitis though while playing claw, i was playing claw for like 4-5 months and then my fingers started to hurt really bad, I changed the way i was holding it and everything still felt horrible, now im playing non claw with specific binds and considering buying paddles.

I have edit set to L3 and jumping set to R3 and i’ve had this way for years. But my switch mode is a problem because its still set to O and i dont play claw so i dont know what to do. Should i remove my thumb off the stick to jump or to switch mode or just wait for a paddle controller? Please help
im no pro, but i suggest paddles in your case if you have years of experience and dont wanna swithc to claw.

i play with 2 paddles. (xbox elite series)
top left - build mode
top right - crouch
right stick - jump
left stick - edit

nah what I meant was dont use the auto confirm reset, playing with edit on release is fine thats what I do

When I used to play on my xbox controller I had it as right as D pad but I would use my index finger to move my left joy stick 😂 just takes a lil while to get used to

I need some advice. Im on ps5 controller and have been using L3 for switch mode and circle for edit for over a year. I want to use L3 to edit and circle for switch mode because then my edits would be faster and all my friends who use that are way better than me. But every time I try and switch I just can't get used to it. What should I do?
it sounds like you give up to easily bro. “Everytime I switch I just cant get used to it” you just gotta practice and get the muscle memory down. Im not trynna be mean but don’t give up to easily like I did.
When I switched to claw 6 months ago it was terrible and frustrating because I wasn’t used to it. I played it for 3 days then switched back to my regular binds. after realizing that I gave up to easily I was like “fuck it let me switch back” I practiced daily everyday. yea it was hard because I wasn’t used to holding my controller like that. but after days of practicing I was good now im a nasty on claw and win dam near all of my fights
I still use circle to edit and wanted to switch to left joystick? What binds are best for setting this up bcs I set it up in custom and I still edited with circle.

best binds ive found for non claw no paddles you dont ever have to take your hands of the stick while aiming editing or building
i swiched from double claw to 2 paddles cos my wrists were killing me whenever i played

new pxlarized map has a section for phasing in boxes, the timing is different for both using weapons and a pickaxe if thats what you meant

i play claw bt i feel my movement and mechanics and piece control is not enough to fight i always die to my friend who i was better than but he out of nowhere got better be keys me no matter the damage and it’s impossible to counter due to him hitting better shots what can i do
do you know why sometimes when I edit the switch mode to return to the pump doesn't work and I have to press r1 to return on the guns mode, also sometimes using that it goes to the spray or meds instead of pump in first position
I used to do this a lot and it would happen because I accidentally clicked my bumper trying to place a build after I already exited the build mode. You also have to make sure you had your shotgun out before you entered build mode
@@ArceSD basically when you Trynna push an opponent make sure to have your shotgun selected and not other weapon. And any advices for the fact that sometimes exiting edit mode you have to press r1 instead of switch mode is there something to help?
Im pretty sure that happens when you have your pickaxe out before going into build mode
@@ArceSD ok thx very much, that might be, imma try today. But being on controller is a struggle when you push you have to break opponent box with pickaxe and before going in have to switch to pump then box fight so the pump goes out when you switch back again on Guns. Anyways thanks again !! ❤️
I’m on ps5, I still use O to edit, but it makes my game so much less smooth. But everytime I try and switch to L joystick I just can’t play on it, what do u suggest?
Do you play claw or paddles? If no then you could maybe try right stick, or if you can comfortably press touchpad to edit I would go for that

What should my binds be if I have 2 paddles but I’m using one for edit
The other paddle can be jump, and then like left stick switch mode and right stick can be like crouch or pickaxe or even tac sprint whichever you prefer

Anti micro is what I was using for a while, but I was losing aim assist sometimes when I used it

hey ares hope your doing well, i struggle with trying to place my builds in the right way or triple editing but can do zw retakes somewhat well, im not sure how to hold my controller when playing claw cause its so uncomfortable and i feel like i cant ever control my sens well, even being on claw for a while still does for this game in particular maybe cause im stressed not sure- but i wish they had some type of adapter piece so i could play with a ps controller rather than a xbox sorry for the long comment i really wanna go to next level on console im just stuck :,3

My build edits won’t confirm. I don’t get it. How do I get it to auto confirm? I don’t want to have to hold a completely different button while editing so it can confirm only half of the time. Because even when I do hold the button, it barely works. I hate it.

Ty bro. Idk why it’s like that but a lot of people have tested the response times of the controllers and Xbox controllers perform the action the slowest. No clue why though
