- Hello there my amazing Sew Aldo fam! Today I finally conquered one of fear when it comes to sewing. I had been dreading a front zipper fly before but I also want to tackle it. I know one day I have to face it as I level up my sewing game. I always wanted to learn how to do this as a seamstress one way or another I will have to dive in to it. Unexpectedly this sewing project wasn't that hard at all. I was very surprised I got it correct the first time I attempted it. It will also help to watch a few tutorials here on CZcams. There was 2 sewing channels that really helped me Tilly and the Buttons and JLOS Tailors.

Would there be an adjustment on the darts placement or length when making this for a child? For reference she wears an extra small women's skirt.
Simply find the center fold of the skirt panels to find where to place the darts.
this video was I've been searching forrr, want to make a long denim skirt for my break week, can i ask how long fabric did you use in this video?? And my foot is 110cm long, can you suggest me how much fabric that i need? Thank you so much
I'm delighted to to hear that you find this tutorial helpful! I used 1 yard of fabric 58 in width for a size small. You might need 2- 3 yards depending on your size and how long you want the skirt.

Yes because I don't like loops on my skirt but you can certainly add them to your project.
