    I understand what you mean about being overwhelmed. I recently passed both my state’s Life Insurance and Accidental/Heath Insurance exams. When I first started learning the Life Insurance part I was taking notes and didn’t even understand what ANY of it meant. But there were several chapters and thankfully passed it. The Accidental/Health was easier to take, because I took my knowledge from the Life Insurance state test and didn’t let anything fly by me. But I also worked for Aetna and Blue Medicare Rx, so it was helpful already knowing Medicare health insurance. But even when I was hired on the Aetna the training for Medicare (coming from Nordstrom with no medical health background) it was stupidly overwhelming during Aetna’s training month long the first couple of weeks.

    • @emmakendall8182
      @emmakendall8182  Před 4 lety +8

      Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! It all depends on the state you live in. Some states require different licenses to perform lasers. I personally think if you want to be an esthetician and be a laser tech, to become an esthetician first, because when learning the lasers you need to know a lot about the skin! But when I went to NLI there were a lot of people that were not estheticians and they did just fine. I will say though, when you go apply for a job, it will probably look very nice on your resume to have both esthetician and laser technician. Hope this helps!

      They do not. But they do grant loans, through Ally lending which is the new Sallie Mae if I’m not mistaken she said that. So let’s say the tuition is 10-12 thousand which it is varying on which brick and mortar location you go to ( Arizona, Texas, ect.. there’s very few) , you would be making monthly payment installments within a certain period of time without, interest. After that, usually 18 months- it is no longer interest free. If you have any questions feel free to message me on Facebook. Com / Laylaybells . They don't accept financial aid, you would have to get a student loan.

    Great video & the details are good, Thank You for sharing so much, did it take you long to find employment ? It must be pretty Expensive. I wonder if there's a School in Florida, I have to get the Direct Number to Ask Questions, as you can see, I have many. I'm Wondering What the Pay is also.😊🌴

    In California, you cannot take these courses unless you are an RN. This is bs and typical of this state's overrregulation. Is it possible to get this license in Az. without an RN.?? This puts a different countenance on investing in this career.

      California, Florida, and New Jersey have very strick rules on what Esthetician and laser technicians can and can not do. Yes you can become a laser technician in AZ without being an RN but you first need to look at your states laws and see if you can even practice it in your state.
