So yes, it is true. Dubai is no longer a 0% tax place.
Since 2024, the UAE have implemented a 9% corporate tax - so what does this mean, does this mean Dubai and the UAE are no longer worth moving to?
Well let’s stop, and let’s actually understand how this 9% tax works, whether you actually have to pay it (hint: for 99% of you, you probably don’t have to pay it, but you need to understand a few details), let’s look at the options you have available if you think Dubai is no longer the right choice for you and let’s understand if you even have to pay this 9% tax and who it actually applies to because there is actually lots of misinfrmation about this topics both in the pri Dubai camp and int he anti Dubai camp - so in this video I want to give you objectve information that is based on the law and tell you exactly what this new tax meabs for you depending on your situation

Great video. Even if its 9% tax, its well worth it. I will be moving to Dubai this July from Australia. I completely agree that I felt highly inspired to do bigger things when visiting Dubai, its really about the lifestyle and mindset.

Basically a lot of these CZcamsrs talk about servicing clients that are 7-8 figures (or at least try to give that impression!), but most of their viewers are probably digital nomads, small time online entrepreneurs and retirees earning in the 5-6 figure range. Dubai will still be 0% for the vast majority of those. (Though not always necessarily the best place - e.g. if you have passive income as a retiree.)

Yeah most of the people reaching out to us will still pay 0%

As a tax you should also include how much accounting will cost you. Everyone is just talking about single % but always forgets to mention how much this actually complicates things and what additional costs and time waste this introduces.

You can also limit the company profit to equal the reasonable salary and not accept any more sales in that company, and then open up another company, then pay yourself a reasonable salary from 10 companies, all of which pay zero tax.

No you cannot do this legally. It’s explicitly prohibited in the law to use many companies to try to get around the tax.

Too many people get carried away with taxes. I've seen these "Dubai is dead" videos from people i used to follow and the first thing that comes to my mind is arrogant entitled pricks.
How can you complain about such a small tax compared to 95% of the world.
seriously i would prefer to pay 9% then none.
I prefer to contribute to greatness. I love the momentum and vision of UAE. I want it to succeed so if i can pay that small 9% tax to help ensure the country can sustain that system then I'm more than happy to pay that tax, i was hoping they would introduce it and as usual they did it the smart way. The people that would leave because of a small 9% tax are the people that are annoying and are better to not be around, you dont want those people to rub off on you. dont get carried away people. if you are making good money, learn to value that and not lose the plot.
just look at the west, its a total ripp off. UK 45% tax above X. seriously? for that crap? they want half for what? what did they do, besides start a war with it..
The UAE does most things better than the best western countries. so you cant complain there. the only negative is the heat might be too much in summer if you are outside.
Funny that. because when i live in south of France most people would disappear off the streets, because it was too hot in the summer. they would hide in their homes with the shutters closed and aircon full blast.
This is how i look at it. I buy a home in the UAE and i buy a home somewhere its not too hot in the summer. and then i split my time in both. of course you have to be there for 183 days of the year to be considered a resident. easily solved.
    any other negatives nope.
now lets talk about the negatives in the western countries... no thanks, because that's all we do. its everywhere. and then you pay a fortune in taxes for that crap.
The reality is this, most intelligent and highly educated people will move to UAE or Saudi Arabia because you would be stupid not too.
whilst the western countries try to milk the working class for everything they have and implement this woke crap around us with stupid pronouns and over doing the whole gay thing... yeah every f**king male on tv has to act gay even if he is not.. cringe...
Muslim countries wont allow that woke crap to destroy society, they know what stupidity is and they dont let their kids make the adult decisions.
    So well done UAE.

Let say i wanna move to Dubai and before i doe that, i set up a company in HongKong and i pay 0% coporate tax and then i decide to move to Dubai and become a resident. How on Earth would UAE government come to know what i all possess and how many companies i have somewhere else if i don’t tell them?
    Thanks in advance!
