In this video I'm building a highly functional miter saw station for under $500. This is inspired by Dennis from HookedOnWood and Drew from Wittworks.
This miter station has a modular drawer system.

Hei, hvor fikk du tak i kryssfineren?
I envy you for your plywood availability. Your 'junk' plywood looks better than our 'premium' plywood here.
Right
Our premium plywood here in Aus (19mm) is $200 a sheet. 😢😢
@@EastAvenueWoodWorks wow.
Where the hell are you buying your plywood if the "premium" is worse than what he is said junk 😂. Please don't say lowes or Home Depot 😂
I think youtube knows that i want to build a miter saw station, but i'm glad i got this video on my recomendations today. very good video.
Thank you!
This was fantastic to watch. I pulled a lot of inspiration out of your vid for my own setup. Thanks
Great video and congrats on such low cost sheets of plywood. It didn’t look like junk at all.
Well, done looks great
that looks great! finding $15 plywood here that looks that good would be a dream
The comedy at 1:48 mark was brilliant! 😂😂😂😂
It's beautiful Are. Excellent job. 🥰
Thank you, Skippy Lippy!
Great stuff, Nice build and 100% correct, it doesn't have to be expensive to be what is needed.. Nice Upgrade.
Thank you, Scott!
I love the new Mitre Saw Station what a Fantastic Build, well done.
Barry (UK)
Thank you, Barry!
Will, persistence, patience and creativity produce these results. Brutally well done. 👏
Greetings from Croatia Are 🍻
Thank you very much!
Well done Are!
Thank you, Davide!
Awesome I’ll be buying those plans. Thanks brother
Nicely done. I think you will be very happy with this mitre saw station and it's storage capacity. 👍👍
Thanks for the video.
Thank you, Jerry! I think so too :)
Miter saw unit looks great !!
Thank you!
Nice job! I'm also looking at this type of modular drawer system for a miter station. I've probably watched Drew and Dennis's videos 100 times each! Glad I found yours.
@DavidMcCabe that's where all my views came from. makes sense now. thank you. check is in the mail.
Thank you! I really like the drawer system!
Feel free to watch my video 100 times as well 😁
Genius at work....well done.
Thank you, Bozidar!
@@AreBaloni no worries, just looking in YT for MITRESAW fence design styles.
Terrific work as usual Are! 👍👍🔨🔨
Thank you my friend!
Are, your videos are always a breath of fresh air. I always look forward to seeing new videos released! Thank you for producing these awesome videos. God bless you my friend!
Thank you so much, Mark! God bless you!
Looks great!
Thank you!
Awesome build
Thank you!
Excellent job Are,
Keep on the great work - love your channel
Gerard (from England).
Thank you, Gerard!
Great job looks great
Thanks, Jim!
Your $15 plywood is nicer than my $90 plywood I get here in Canada. It appears to be nearly on par with my $155/sheet plywood
Well done Mate. Love the handles you did. I wish I did that on mine. You had me at Makita track saw. 🇳🇴
Thanks, Drew! Heavily inspired by your shop cabinet-video. Always learn a lot watching your videos, both with woodworking, but especially with video-production. Your storytelling is top class!
@@AreBaloni😊
I love your miner saw build
I love the plans too ,I think I'll do my build like you did yours
Awesome work man keep it up
Thank you, Mary!
Riktigt snyggt. Bra jobbat!
Tusen takk!
@@AreBalonivart tusan fick du tag i "andra sortering" på plywooden? Någon lokal bygghandlare?
beautiful job and a great price
Thanks!
Love the quick shot of the disc golf basket.
-JonnyV from SmashBoxxTV.
Thanks! Have to check out your channel now 👍🏼
Super cool!!!
Thank you, Henry!
Great video!
Thank you Juston!
Muchas gracias! Entiendo un poco ;)
Looks awesome! Very similar to what I want. But mine will be 16' long
nicely done
Thank you, Courtney!
You know it’s crazy that this miter station is based around Hooked on Wood and Drew from Wittworks miter and I literally just watched both of those videos yesterday because I’ve thinking about changing my miter station.
CZcams algorithm knows ;)
@johnwilburn1652 🥳
The perfect miter station. Unfortunately we have to deal with a lot more expensive worse plywood than your "junk" plywood in Norway.
I envy the metric system so much
Looks great, and that price is blowing me away! I haven't found anything below $50 here in Vestfold😮
Thank you! Ask for "pakkeplate" :)
Great looking station and the drawer system is genius. Quick question: What purpose does the hood serve?
Great Build Are I cant believe that plywood was that cheep. Ive just come back from Norway and everything is expensive !!! well done looks great
Really?! Where in Norway were you? I’m going to the makers central in may. Will you be there?
Pierre and me were in Arendal for a surprise party for our friend Marius Bodvin . So glad your coming to makers central yes both me and Pierre will be there it would be great to meet up can’t wait
Great work, still don’t understand how the plywood is so cheap. Perhaps I should move? @wittworks provided me with a lot of background for my upcoming project, but you filled in the gaps perfectly. The blend of your two projects is going to be amazing if I can pull off what’s in my head.
Where you get these defective shipping boards at here in Norway?
I need for french cleet wals.... ;)
Also, your shop looks REALLY good, bud!
Looks great, I’m all about a shop looking like a shop, and squeezing every last ounce out of my materials, I hate waste.
Thanks! Agree.
Actually thought about doing some sort of project with all the left-over plywood.
Great! Wow! Where can we get this plywood here in Norway? Never heard of it. Keep up the good work 😀
Thank you! Bought at normal byggevarehandel ;) Ask for pakkeplater. (Ble Petter Solberg-engelsk dette)
@@AreBaloni Thank you, that’s good enough in massevis for me 😂
Hvor fikk du tak i slike kryssfiner?
Takker! Litt dyrere enn i Norge da!
Does anyone know where we can get similar plywood like this in the UK?
What camera do you use? From the looks of the microphone maybe a dji camera? Do you record everything yourself?? And what equipment with tripods and stuff
Camera and main microphone is linked in the description :) I can add links to the other stuff as well 👍🏼 I record everything myself
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Always appreciate it!
4 minutter inn i videoen, og må spørre. Hvor handler du kryssfiner platene du bruker her?
Has anyone seen plywood sold like this in the US? It’s cheaper and nicer than the cheap building stuff at big box stores.
First thing I thought, too. I'd like to know where to get my hands on some.
Likewise.
Check out the cabinet build video on Wittworks’ channel. He found some nice looking plywood in US for around $40 I think.
@@AreBaloni thanks definitely will
Birch plywood costs me 89 bucks a sheet im in Saugerties NY , sometimes i can buy culls , broken edges ,digs ,stains etc… for 20 bucks a sheet …
Hvor kjøper du denne typen kryssfiner?
Vanlig byggevarehandel.
Do you have plans available in imperial measurements?
No, unfortunately not
Heisan.
@@AreBaloni Supert. Takk for svar :)
Well done 🇦🇺👴🏻
Thank you, Mark!
I checked out your plans and, sadly, they are only in metric. If you had provided and SketchUp files, they could be converted be the user. Thanks for sharing your build though.
👍🏾
the only thing I do not like about the drawer design is that you pull too far and they will fall out.
Yes, that could happen, but I’m probably not as strong as you 😎
"Promosm" 😈
Yes I want to make money from my channel
18 sheets of mediocre plywood would be about $1000 in the US. I would not even mind the prices if we could get real Baltic birch plywood again. Thanks Putin.
