  • It all started when Jaiden Rodriguez, a seventh grader at The Vanguard School, was told he had to remove all of the patches on his backpack or not to come back to class. The school says it allowed Jaiden to return to class and keep his 'Don't tread on me' flag patch on his backpack.

mehhh. Flags, like symbols, can change their meanings if they are used differently than originally intended, but I get what you're saying. Take the swastika, caduceus, or the Tennessee Army Battle Flag.
In this case, the history of the flag isn't what this woman is depicting. That being said, if people continue to alter the correlation this flag with continued use along side other banners with more explicit meanings, it could ultimately change the meaning of the Gadsden flag.

The Gadsden Flag is NOT a symbol of hate, and the flag's origin was not born in support of slavery!
Your channel is either lying or were lied to by the school about Jaiden having semiautomatic weapons on his backpack. It's obvious because the teacher NEVER mentioned anything about guns at all, and she certainly would have used this to attempt to prove that she was justified in her egregious behavior. The only "weapons" on the kid's backpack were a sword in two of the patches, one of which was part of a crest. Incidentally, the two swords were mentioned as "weapons" in the email between school officials, but at NO time did ANYONE mention semiautomatic weapons, EXCEPT YOUR FALSE REPORTS.
Your news team failed miserably by NOT fact-checking your false narrative before announcing it to the public.

I remember being young and liking guns and being told not to tell anyone because people will think your violent, well now I say liking guns doesn’t mean you are violent or are going to do anything bad, this is ridiculous, the only thing I can think is they want to taboo guns so they can take them away easier. Maybe they don’t like the Gadsden flag because it represents resistance to tyranny and an over bearing government, maybe that is the problem.
