The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.
Who else thinks, “triple episode? Im about to nap so well” lol
I listen to this to sleep 😴 💤 😌
💯🤣
So glad I'm not alone in this ritual...lol
I must confess I don't understand why everyone keeps talking about using these episodes to sleep. I watch them because they're fascinating - not sure how you could sleep through them. There's often yelling and gun shots too, so I'm not sure how that's conducive to sleep, LOL!
Yaaaaaaaaasssssss…naaaappp lol
I love all these kinds of true crime shows to sleep to I get the best sleep ever
The music is a bit too loud though. I usually fast forward before I close my eyes for some shuteye.
Just make sure all the doors are locked and windows secured before you go to sleep...every night...as I tell all of my loved ones..."There are NO second chances" when it comes to leaving doors unlocked...

To know others fall asleep to these episodes has helped me tremendously. Thank you for being transparent. I appreciate it greatly. Going through a divorce and this somehow settled me.
I do too. It's not the content, but the tone of the narrator's voice....very soothing.
Sending peace your way. I hope love finds you again....healed and whole.
Very true much the same for myself
Every night!! It's whatever gets you through it... nobody's business but yours love!!
I’m sorry I hope you’re doing well and don’t worry we all watch it to fall asleep! 😂
These episodes has gotten me through 2 days of chicken soup, cold medicine and thanks to CZcams auto play I just wake up to a new episode 😂

I love this kind of show coz I can still do my chores while listening to them and afterwards watch them again when i finished my chores
I do the samething only at work. My boss finds it interesting. 😂😅
I love this programme so much that I watch it every day. 2023 who is watching with me
2024… still watching😊
Am I the only one who loves the music in the beginning? It brings me comfort.
Lol I love it too. I see people nonstop complaining about it but I think it’s dope.. and comforting, like nostalgic.
Takes me back to my childhood watching true crime stories. His voice is so soothing.
Whenever a date is mentioned , like the "fall of 1994", I always try to think about where I was living and what life was like back then.
My husband was a child lived in the Southside of Richmond while the Southside strangler was active. There's either an FBI Files or Forensic Files episode about him.
Probably better in a sense...
I do absolutely the same. Sometimes I even look some places up to compare them to my experiences in the States when I was a teenager. I am European and travelled through almost all States in 1978 and 79. It has all changed so very much. To be honest, I prefer these old days. So here in Germany. As a Berliner I saw the wall fallin' and can compare the times before and after. I swear, before it was way more cosy and private and SPECIAL. Now it is nothing but an ordinary big city. I want these old days back!!!! :-((((
i was in Kindergarden
I always think about what technology was being used. 1994, oh, no cell phones yet. But they do know about dna…😂😂😂
The reason of this videos are so relaxing and help us to sleep quickly....is because by focusing our attention to the stories, our minds take a break from all the thoughts we usually have running around our minds, causing all the anxiety.
And if we add the soothing voices of the narrators.....this videos becomes like sleep time stories for grown ups.
I love you these episodes. A great way to fall asleep
No criticism of them. Just a soft gentle way to pop off in to Dreamland.
Me too I have been watching crime documentary since 2008 and it was my way to get sleep because the narrator voices lulled me to be able to sleep
Great way to have nightmares!
@@glenncurley680 lol, I have never had a nightmare yet going to sleep with these playing.

Update: Thomas Capano's death sentence was later overturned and changed to life in prison. Capano died in prison on September 19th, 2011 of a heart attack. He was 61 years old.
What a Simp he was. He lost his dear life and all the family relationships, his business just because of one Woman?
I don’t get it. Dude had it all and lost it over some broad who was, at best, a glorified secretary.
With his money and prestige, he could’ve spent the rest of his days banging scores of women half his age and twice as hot as Ann Marie.

True. I fall asleep before the end of almost every one of them. The narrator's voice is key. Forensic Files, FBI Files and Disappeared all have great narrators.
It’s better than starting at a screen lol. I do too, only last. Few months. My best friend got me hooked on true crime. I’ve kept up on a few that I know friends that knew some people involved but becoming addicted is new. So why not listen to an audio book to fall asleep lol. But my dreams 😂😂😂

She love to take man money too much. Then ditch them.
One of the only shows you can stay awake watching and fall asleep to
Before Thomas C. passed in prison in 2011 he finally admitted to killing the mistress. For decades he claimed he was innocent.
I love that I’m not the only one who listens to true crime to fall asleep lol.My family thinks I’m a lunatic for doing that.
I laughed out loud when i read your comment, coz I do too🤣🤣👍
Mine think I am weird and may be influenced to kill too 🤣🤣🤣
These are nothing in all honesty. There isn’t many gruesome or graphic details about the murders or how they happened. What you need to stay away from are the crime channels that go in deep detail as to how someone was killed down to the tiniest detail. Those WILL mess you up if you play them while you sleep.
Sometimes I wonder is this healthy. After I watch a couple episodes, I always watch some comedy, to lighten things up.

I can fall asleep to just about anything, especially these crime documentaries. The problem arises when I begin to incorporate whatever I’m “hearing” into my dreams & they easily turn into some pretty horrific nightmares. I have very vivid dreams as is, so I have to be careful with what I choose to fall asleep to. Aside from that, I love these documentaries! 😅
😂. I dream about catching bad guys when I listen to these as I fall asleep…😂
Lol I second that
I dream about a story that is 90% different from the original one.

Haha Thomas and Gerald were just very common baby names…. The other brother was I think Joseph. The names in these shows aren’t actually changed- it only states that scenes are “dramatic re-enactions”. I think names are only changed if something is unsolved and still an ongoing investigation, etc.
I noticed that too 😂 No wonder their kids all turned out bad!

Rest In Peace, Mr Thomas and Jim Kallstrom, former head of the FBI New Yawk office 😢
I loved Peter Thomas's voice. To this day if I have trouble sleeping I put on an ep of Forensic Files and fall asleep. My daughter does the same!
I love Bill Kurtis's voice as well.
My very first audiobooks, Sweet Valley High, was narrated by Peter Thomas, when I was a teenager in the 90s. I used to check them out from the library and sit in the back of my family's minivan and listen to them, cause it would play even with the car off. Silly story maybe, but a cozy, happy memory that I get whenever I see Mr. Thomas' name or hear his voice narrating various shows. ❤
I do believe the stars were aligned when the cooler in which Tom Capano moved Anne Marie Fahey's body out in the middle of the ocean was found by other boaters and they kept it.
Excellent work and production!
I read the book on the Capano Caper and I had to laugh at one point: He asked for leniency after conviction because, "I went to Catholic schools and was taught by the Jesuits," hhahaahah. The Jesuits!!! That figures. They are the most left-leaning branch of the Church...I mean, they are almost Commies. I'm not surprised that Ole Tom was a Democrat.

So the remorseful guy that sang like a canary was sentenced to 27 ½ years in prison but the accomplice to murder after the fact who didn't cooperate got 17! Wow what an encouraging message to send out there by the FBI!
I think that says more about the lawyers of these guys than the underhandedness of the FBI, I don't appreciate how they blackmailed the gf into giving more info after she rang them with the information that eventually led to the arrests, all that to avoid giving her the $50. 000?

The armored van robbery is crazy! They shouldn’t have killed the driver and they should’ve kept their mouths shut and stashed the money, and they may have gotten away with it. Or at least if they got caught they wouldn’t have got near as much time and could’ve still had the money when they got out. I can’t believe the one guy only got 16 years. He was released in 2013.
Not interested in people's sleeping habits or insulting 'go to sleep' remarks. These FBI programs are very informative, professionally well reenacted and entertaining. 😊
I took three great naps during this one
It’s crazy how inconsistent our “justice system” is. Some murderers-death row for one murder. Other murderers-12 years for one or more murders. You take someone’s life intentionally, a swift taking of yours after one appeal. That would be justice.
How can something be considered a heinous act when one person does it and righteous justice when done by another? Rape for instance. someone commits a rape, so the state has someone rape the perpetrator in the name of justice. Ask yourself why only a few states in the US are the only places in the Western world that still practice capital punishment. Everyone else has realised how hypocritical and backward it is for the state to kill its citizens in the name of justice .
They take remorse and compliance into account when deciding the final decision
Most of those sentences are plea deals. Many prosecutors with weak cases will agree to 12 years when they think they will lose and not get a conviction if it goes to trial.
Just watched one where the guy got out for good behavior after raping and killing a child. Of course he killed another child and back in prison. It disgusts me
