Cloth's death was such an epic moment like after being so scared, she decides to fight which gets her impaled, but she finally musters up the bravery and makes one final finishing blow. I personally saved cloth because whenever a friend dies i die inside.

When I first encountered the hunter, I decided to leave him be because I thought I wouldn’t be ready for the boss fight bc I was still learning, and forgot about him until I was well over halfway through the game. Then, when I remembered him, and decided to go to him, I felt embarrassed to discover that there was no boss fight

Always makes me interested seeing the various orders people took on the bosses. I distinctly remember getting stuck on Mantis Lords right off of Hornet and refusing to move on until I did them even though the game encourages you to visit the City Of Tears to upgrade your nail before you challenge them. Also interesting to see Elder Hu being the first Dream Warrior boss in this video instead of Xero like usual.

RiderGuy364 Hes still sane yet more hostile because of the plague, this game is really dark and theres a reason you kill without remorse, your a vacuum of the plague, your a black hole and your job is to contain and collect the plague, in the end you become the hollow knight and become sentient and have a conscience or kill the plague itself by ending the god who made it, a god who hates freedom and has less of a sense for people then the void does, because all the hollow knights are a part of void
You don't kill the Dung Defender, you can go back later and talk to him. He talks about how he thought you were plagued at first, but now he realizes you two don't have to fight.

This game is a masterpiece and will be one of the games of all time
To those wondering about the ending:
The Radiance is the original God and creator of bugkind, though at the price of keeping everyone locked in a hive mind and primitive. The King sealed it away and gave everyone free will and the ability to evolve. The Radiance didn't take kindly to that, and created the Plague (that orange crap on everyone). In return, the King created the Hollow Knights from the Void to act as living containment units for the Plague; in the normal ending, you fulfill that roll when you defeat the old Hollow Knight. In the true ending, you confront The Radiance itself; those black ghosts are the previous Hollow Knights, and at the end, you sacrifice your individuality and become part of the Void to kill The Radiance for good, thus ending the plague.
The Radiance isn't a God but a Higher Being which "created" Seer and her kind (not all bugs). Corruption came from Great Wyrm which essence reincarnated as Pale King who sealed The Old Light in Black Egg since "No blazing kin. Only one light shall shine against the darkness." Next time use official information and not self-content.

The CliffsNotes version of the story is that, in the ancient underground kingdom of Hallownest, where thieves and adventurers brave the ruins for treasures and secrets, a strange energy (The Plague) has been wreaking havoc, driving residents mad and/or robbing them of their memories, and turning the ruins of Hallownest into a death zone. You, the Hollow Knight, having no clue about yourself or what is going on, explore Hallownest, learning of its history and inhabitants in bits and pieces, Dark Souls style. Gradually, through interactions with the villagers, old guard of the decaying kingdom, and other individuals, you learn of your nature as a being created from the Void, of your role in acting as a receptacle for The Plague, and of the kingdom's collapse and descent into madness and ruin via the execution of this plan, ultimately leading to several endings, such as the one here. Basically we are created by the Void to sacrifice ourselfs like the "Hollow Knight" did long time ago to seal the Wyrm. The Radiance and Wyrm possibly aren't the same thing as Radiance is the god and Wyrm is powerful as a god. It seems like Wyrm's plague and Radiance are working together on getting out of the seal. Oh and Wyrm is dead it's his corpse that started the infection. The king not only sealed Radiance but Wyrm aswell.

Im not sure if this was done in order (The order of which your supposed to fight the boss) but the soul tyrant caused me pain as a 5 mask user and i died to that last part so much. When i finally beat him i was shaking and then i finally realized that the boss wasn’t essential. I was in a world of hurt at that point because it took me 3+ hours
That ending is a master piece.
Specially that part where the hollow knight assist you on killing the radiance.

This must be an older patch. Soul Master doesn't produce shockwave when he slams into the ground. In the version I play, which I assume is the most recent, Master produces shockwave you can get over with a small hop, and Tyrsnt produces ones that require a full or double jump to clear.

Gellot what’s the rating of this game? Like E10+ type of rating.
Finally got to playing this game. It’s so weird when you’re used to the Metroid series and not any other type of Metroidvania.
