How To Pack Only Carry On For A 2 Week Europe & Mediterranean Cruise

- My husband and I recently went on 16 day European and Mediterranean cruise and we only brought carry on luggage with us. I packed 9 tops, 1 blazer, 5 slacks, underwear and a multitude of other essential travel items. I will share with you what to consider, what we packed, how we packed, and what worked and what didn’t work for us. Below are links to all specialty items and a complete listing of all items packed. I went to Europe in 1973 for almost a month. Saw Switzerland, Germany, Amsterdam, and France. I packed one suitcase. You need to wear things twice, or more. I rolled my clothes and they fit better that way, but can be wrinkled, but no biggy with today's fabrics.

This was great. Your packing skills are impressive. I'm going on an 11 day trip with my 17 year old in August to Europe (London, Paris & Rome) and I'm planning on taking Carry on suitcase only and one personal item bag. So far, I have packed things a couple of times to check the most efficient layout and I've found that I am able to fit 6 dresses one skirt, 4 pairs of pants (3 lightweight; 1 jeans) and 7 tops. 3 pairs of shoes (wearing my sneakers on travel day), two crossover purses in my personal item, thermal water bottle, makeup and liquids in personal item for easy access as well as passports, small coffeemaker 😂(I know that might sound crazy to some people, but I must have decent coffee:), paper itinerary and hotel info, Euros and British Pounds, phone charger, converter, curling iron, brush and comb, earbuds for movie on plane and phone, possibly noise canceling over the ear headphones (haven't decided yet on those), snacks, tea bags, honey and crystalized lemon packets. We like our tea. My daughter will have her own Carry on suitcase and personal item bag. I have the same medicine pill case that you have. It's a great one. First aid supplies in a ziploc (Bandaids, OTC meds, Pepto Bismol, Zyrtec, Tylenol, Blister bandages) I can't wait to go traveling again (post pandemic).

While my trips weren't as long as yours, I almost always pack everything in my carryon (unless I was taking something that required checkin). Must less hassle for sure (no lost luggage, waiting at the baggage carousel, etc).
It made things so much easier

I was a little curious how you got some of those items on a plane. It can be tough.
No problem at all
I never check luggage, it is always carry on and I too do not carry a purse.
It really is so convenient
Can a foldable mini washing machine be taken on a cruise in the Mediterranean?
I have never seen one.
Next time go on a nudist cruise oh and have 20% of you baggage empty on the outwards trip. Offset the carbon costs for your grand children and enjoy
