now i understand why you didnt want to use gzdoom slow mo, it is too slow, fear slow mo makes you move faster than normal.

is this a gzdoom module? Do i need to start a new game to make it work? i ask because i am swamped with gmaes to play right now so i cant check out everything.
@@arkgaharandan5881 its a gzdoom mod, but its on the steam workshop so that you can install it from there. You don't need a new game, just install the mod and load your existing save and it will work
Given the FEAR inspiration of Selaco, could be interesting if your slo-mo started limited, but you could get more via ingame powerups, like the random "Reflex booster" needles Pointman loves jamming into his arm.

Been using Bullet Time X for my modded Doom games. It never crossed my mind that it could be ported to Selaco with little fuss since its on the GZDoom engine lol.

Oh yeah, I was just thinking about using that specific mod. It really shines when a lot of effort is put into stuff like environmental vfx and gun vfx. All those bullet impacts in Selaco will look sweet, just as video shows. Ashes is also very good with this mod.

Hate to be that guy, but the word/concept you are thinking of is probably 'coincidence'. (Or something else)
Irony is when the opposite of what is intended happens (that would be the meaning in this context), like when you try to save someone but your action ends up killing them. Another common meaning is 'saying the opposite of what you mean to be funny' ("being ironic"; kinda similar to being sarcastic). Cambridge dictionary has nice definitions. (Some others had kinda convoluted definitions for my taste)

Also, don't "hate to be that guy". Just coz people get pissy when they get told they're wrong, doesn't make you the bad guy.
You also didn’t have to be ‘that guy’ in the first place. Correcting someone over a grammatical error in a comment section isn’t usually the best use of one’s time.

I get what you're saying, but hey, no harm in correcting a word misuse (as long as you're polite/not being an arsehole doing so, of course). And this one (misuse of irony, which is itself ironic) is rather too common.

Although to be honest, sometimes I have hard time telling if a "just bad luck" kinda situation could be described as ironic, so maybe I shouldn't judge it too harshly. (What's going on with the spasm thing in that music video by the way? I went and started watching the music video, but that part was too upsetting I couldn't keep watching. lol)

Then again, the blood is already pretty awesome with permanent gore.
I think the biggest issue with this mod (for now) is that it doesn't properly slow down the logic of other moving parts on certain maps, so if used there, can lock you out of getting certain items, etc.
Should be pretty easily fixable, because damn does this look fun!

More shooters should have bullet time mechanics. I used to use cheats when playing Unreal 1 solo and enable bullet time by setting the speed, and it was so much fun.
It's crazy this game shipped without it!

I like it. But looking at the guns as they fire, shows their seams by having lower frame-rate as a result.
