- Translation by my friend (now wife) and myself. I can't believe XSEED translated Estelle's 1st S-Craft into "Pummel".
- I still cannot understand Renne's 1st S-Craft name
- Muller's S-Craft is a Buddhist term. Don't ask why.
- Alan Richard and Kanone Amartia is an incomplete character in Second Chapter. Their orbment works, but bugged in a way that their max EP cannot exceed 100.

I'm playing the third right now. I think trails in the sky series is going to be the best series I've ever played.

PSP version is superior in execution (added voice overs, quartz, etc.), but PC version still better overall (and tad harder, especially FC). However if you want the translation, FC is already available (imperfect translation, but good). SC will be a digital download for PSP this 2014. There's a HD version on PS3, I think, but that's Ja only.
i do have a psp at hand, especially with the second chapter coming out too.
Everything Parody Gaming You're in for a treat for SC. I believe there's a extra scene in which you can control a character that isn't in the PC version :D

"Pummel" works for Estelle's S-Craft if you consider her personality though.
I sure don't want to shout something as literal as "True Violent Wave Matchless Attack".
Though great job in the video.
S-Crafts beat Limit Breaks and Hi-Ougis any day.
While proper, they can at least make it sound awesome, like "Peerless Assault". I just hope when SC comes, Carpe Fulgur won't translate it to something like "True Pummel".
And yeah, S-Craft is the kind of overdrive I like, from prerequisite to usage to damage :D
Most likely due to space problem. But still, could be better since long name like "Howling Bullet" can fit.

You can call Kevin's 2nd and 3rd S-Craft "Toki no Masou" and "Sora no Sei-Sou" since he always said that line after the dark/light spears hits the enemy

Renne, I still don't think right because her name was written as Re-n. The closes thing I can came up with is a flower called Ranunculus (Buttercup), but I don't see (yet) how this fits her character

I know what you mean, but it also references how Estelle ain't that..."Creative" when it comes to naming her attacks.
Peerless Assault does sound cool though.
I do think Carpe Fulgur will use XSeed's existing translation to keep things consistent.

+Perseonn Balthasaar He also taught the sword to Cid as well and he used a Sabre, the techique they both share is speedy attacks with their swords.
+Oguzhan Gungor To answer your question, yes he is a swordmaster way before he started using a staff to "Stop killing people". He is also one of the 4 divine blades, master of Richard, Estelle, Joshua aaaaaaand a master of the eight leaves sword style. (You'll learn more about all this in trails of ciold steel)
I have recently finished the Second Chapter localized by XSEED.
In some of your previous comments, you mentioned how Julia is an incomplete character. However, this confuses me since, in the final dungeon, one is able to select her for their party and use her within that final dungeon (you can even use Muller). Could the player not use Julia/Muller in the final dungeon in the original PC version?
+thepersonwhocomentz You can use Julia for a single battle, but Muller is not usable at all (although he's there during the cutscene of defending Grancell).
Most likely yes, since all S-Craft written in katakana have no to minor alteration.

I think only Julia have the most complete stat (since she also playable for a battle), but she does not have the menu artwork, making the game crash everytime you highlight her. However, strangely, both Kanone and Richard have proper menu artwork, especially Kanone's is completely unique and haven't been shown anywhere else.

Provided on the author comment. Kanone and RIchard are incomplete characters in the Second Chapter. To be exact, Julia is also an incomplete character in SC due to her status menu hangs when trying to load her profile image. Kanone and Richard works fine on profile image, but their stats are dummied.
