  • After Monday's controlled demolition of the piece of steel lying across the Dali, officials expected to refloat the ship about two days later.
    That time has come and gone. The complicated work is taking longer than anticipated.
    Newly released video from the Unified Command, which you can watch in the clip above, shows crews on board the Dali as they continue clearing the wreckage.

      Definitely agree... A big maybe.
      Especially with our weather here in Baltimore. It's raining and a bit muggy out. It's definitely going to effect it.
      Just glad they recovered all 6 construction workers and they could be properly laid to rest!

    LMAO...so you want to make sure the crew of the Dali have proper paperwork......I think the people on the Southern Border might find that amusing.

    How about building a tunnel instead a bridge

    • @mattharper588
      @mattharper588 Před 15 dny +5

      There already is a tunnel.They do not allow transporting hazardous materials through a tunnel so they will build a new bridge

      @@alexn5743
      A tunnel costs 10x that of a bridge, which would not be recouped from the party at fault, because they are only responsible for the cost of the bridge.
      But as the other gentleman stated, it is a hazardous materials route, so it has to be a bridge.
      Either way, I'm sure the taxpayer is going to get reamed, so bend over and lube up.

      @@seeharvester my apologies for the ambiguity, I am in support of building a bridge, I misunderstood your comment as "who's going to pay for [the bridge]" when read sequentially from the prior comment.

    They will drag it out as long as they can Fed's are paying. The excuse's never end. First it was working 24/7 to get it done ASAP now it is maybe next week. Ship full of containers that could have been removed over the last 50 days.
