i'm a straight, white, middle aged male, or cismale. Sorry if i'm getting the nomenclature wrong. I can't understand why anybody gives a shit what anybody else wants to do with their body, their life, their gender. Maybe sexual reproduction is just the first phase of human evolution. Maybe gender will be a much more fluid aspect of humanity in 500 years. Maybe sexual reproduction is part of humanity's aggression and selfishness.
I don't know, but it sure is fascinating. We should all just keep trying to be nice to each other. The only thing we need to repress is our urge to be assholes.

+Marcellus Santos - Marcellus, first of all that body doesn't belong to him. Simply you and I can't find an Allyson Robinson manufacturing company that built his body. Therefore whoever (God) allowed him to be born and clothed with flesh; seen as a man. You use the word "Maybe" in your fourth sentence that indicates that you aren't sure about the reproduction method-sad. You be cool to the notion. I will attempt to help the individual come to themselves.

Right on and excellent point. I just want to share one thing with you since you really do seem interested in gender and everything. Is that more and more doctors and researchers are starting to arrive at the same conclusion and that is that transsexualism is in fact another form of intersexuality in that they are born with only an intersexed brain, and not the more obvious typical signs that intersex conditions we know of today show, which also include being born with an intersex brain, but also intersex reproductive organs, and or intersex chromosomes such as XXY, XYY, XYXY, XXXY, XO, XXYY and so on. Umm here's an excerpt from a paper that Dr.Milton Diamond wrote in 2011 where in it one of things he talks about is why he has come to the conclusion
that transsexualism in another form or forms of intersexuality that all lead to the same thing a person being born with only an intersexed brain, totally "normal genitals, and sex chromosomes for the genitals they have), but the brain is intersexed, which can't be seen, and I can tell you that it sucks to be raised as and expected to be a boy when one is a girl, and I know that trans males feel the same way that it really sucked for them to be expected to be girls and were raised as such. I'm sure if you are a guy you could imagine how much it would suck if you were forced and felt pressured to be what
everyone expects of you based on your body
eproductive organs. I wish I had had access to information about transgender\transsexual people when I was a kid. I didn't come across until I was like 15 when we finally got AOL and it's not like I'm super old, but I was born in 1982, and really all I had seen of trans women up to that point had been like them as jokes where people would say things like chicks with d*icks, she-males, trannies, and then I also saw drag queens and honestly all of that did not sound positive and it didn't sound like how I felt, and then yeah my Mom was not very kind when talking about gay men, so I was like oh I really don't know how she would take it if I tell her that her favorite son because she made no secret that she got along
with me the best out of all of her sons geeee I wonder why, lol that he was in fact really a girl, and that yes if at all possible I would like to live as a girl. Based on how she was talking about gay men I felt it best that I never ever mention it to her, which I obviously did at 24, but by then she had evolved on gay issues, and also I should have had more faith in my Mom's unconditional love for me was absolutely true in her case, but that's just it it's not always true for every trans person who feels that a certain parent or both parents love me unconditionally and then have turned around and been kicked out or found out that it's the other parent that they didn't expect to support them is the one that is supporting them. Anyway sorry for the rant here's the excerpt along with a link to the entire paper, and I would also be more than happy to answer any question you might have about gender and my experience with being born with transsexualism, which is how the medical community phrases it.
“Actually from my own clinical experiences, my own experimental research, and from the findings of others I conclude that transsexuality is a form of intersexuality…. I believe that transsexuals are intersexed in their brains as others are or might be more obviously so in their gonads, genitals, hormonal character, receptors, enzymatic or chromosomal constitution. And it is this brain intersexuality that biases the person to assert his or her gender identity.”

So I guess it's no surprise that I would also write way to long of replies as well, lol. Thank you for your support, and if you ever do have any questions feel free to ask, and it does make me really happy to know that there are just good people in the
world is how I see it. I don't see people as male, female, black, white, hispanic, Christian, or Muslim I just see humans and I really only see whether they are humans who really do care for their fellow human, or if they don't or if they only care when it's convenient. I really do believe there are more good people in this world such as yourself than those who are on the opposite end of that spectrum

The purpose of breasts is to feed a baby, if you needed them your body would have naturally poisoned you with the hormones needed to do so. I beg to differ: there are plenty of individuals who are born with the "wrong body" though I must confess that I do not like the phrase. Personally I like my body and hate it at the same time but I am not even sure that words do justice to my feelings. Perhaps it would be better to say "with the development of the wrong body" since "male" does not necessarily mean "man/boy or "female" does not necessarily mean girl/woman. Excuse me. Having been educated in Europe I find my compatriots using "male" and "female" incorrectly or sloppily.

  • @deemor5013

No, when you were born your sex was correctly labelled as 'boy''. You had a penis, and presumably no sexual organs ambiguity. At your birth, you were far too young to form your gender IDENTITY. Yes, somewhere along the journey of your young life, something changed. Your gender IDENTITY became that of a girl. What I can't understand is why the SEX organs are artificially put through a TRANSition, but it's called 'transGENDER'. It seems to me that the gender, the self identification, remains constant, there's no waivering (unless you're gender FLUID) - but the SEX parts are changed/crossed. I don't know a lot about it, but I have a feeling that 'TRANSgender' is the wrong word. I DO know about ambiguous genitalia, and intersex babies, and designating the 'sex' of babies. As a midwife of quite a few years, I've had some experience with birth and babies. But it's the 'gender identification' part of 'TRANSgender' that I don't get. The term 'GID', I DO get. Much more accurate. (IMO)

I think technology is going too fast for us to handle. Legally there is still just MALE and FEMALE and yet there are so many other types of human beings on this planet to be considered! I also consider myself to be transtemporal but almost no-one has ears to hear this so I usually do not say it but anyway since our parents did not know how to deal with me well nor others around me for the matter including doctors I am still a little messed up which does not mean that I cannot help others if they are willing to listen!

I think you are right on target in as far as the fear of transgendered citizens are concerned to come out. Of course, individual circumstances vary. As far as space aliens are concerned, they have already been here and are probably among us, moreover, I believe that we are part extraterrestrial ourselves and that this is not our planet: we just live here! Not everyone has a fear of coming out. I never have.

You refuse to accept this. You don't live in reality hon, you live in a warped version where science is wrong and you are right, you silly old bat! why cant you accept the science?

Weak little souls...can't fight against their sins, so they're changing evil into good to fit their sinful lifestyles. It might make you feel better right now in your skin, but when you come before God and he asks you why you thought you could change His Words to fit your lifestyle, that you thought you had the right to tell God he wasn't right to create you a man or a woman, only because you liked flesh more than the Spirit and didn't try to fight against your sinful flesh, what are you going to tell Him? That He was wrong? How arrogant of you.

As a parent I know I love my children unconditionally. I know that even if they made some sort of horrible mistake I would still love them and never give up on them or abandon them. This is how I see God. I don't see him as vengeful and ready to condemn all even if they were to make mistakes. I don't see how he could love us so much that he would give his only son to save us, but then turn his back on us. I don't see him turning his back on any transgender person in the same way I don't see him turning his back on you. You say Transgender people are arrogant and saying that God made a mistake, but aren't you saying the same thing? How can you be so arrogant to assume that God didn't make them just the way they are? Be sure when you accuse others that you are not also in the same breath accusing yourself. We should all love each other as we would love ourselves.

Ah! Good point! Just because a bible verse doesn't fit our desires or life style doesn't mean we change the bible. *This is important.* We can acknowledge sin and be cleansed even if we commit it 10,000 times a day every day.
It is important that we seek cleansing for ALL our sins, not just those that stick out in society. (E.g. Lev 19:19)
John 3:16 simply states that anyone that believes Jesus is messiah is saved. It doesn't add any other distinctions or requirements.

You are a perfect example of Christianity.....ignores admonitions against judgement, preaches and lives the old testament law that Jesus was supposedly there to abolish in favor of "Love your brother as you love God"...he had more than a few words on hypocrisy..How would he feel about this hypocrisy IN HIS NAME, no less...Guess you can answer when you are at the judgement bar you you just brought her to, eh? That's the TRUTH of HIS ministry, but you'll find that out a day short and can answer for all those you led down your path...I forgive you, but it's not me who needs to most...

No, SHE is A WOMAN! Jesus said man or woman you are all one in Christ. He also said to love thy neighbor as thyself. he also said he replaced the old law with new. To call yourself a christian is shameful! He teaches love not hate. Yet YOU sir... Are HATE, not LOVE.

A few years ago I felt the same. However, I did research and discovered I didn’t understand transgenders.
What is a woman? A woman is a human being.
What is a man? A man is a human being.
What makes up a human being?
Perhaps many years ago the YMCA displayed it best with it’s tringle…
      Mind
      Body
      Spirit
Therefore there are three parts of a human being.
      A mind, a body, and a spirit.
The body does not control the mind and the body does not control the spirit. So in answer to the question what is a woman? If you are speaking of the body we all know the answer. But the body is only one third of a human being.
The mind is more powerful than the body as it controls the body and causes it to act.
The spirit or soul is the life of the body and the mind. Jesus tells us when we go to heaven we neither marry or are given in marriage. So the soul is neither a woman or a man.
Therefore, though it is rare, a body of one gender can have the mind of the opposite gender. And which is more powerful? The answer is the mind. The mind is what causes a body to transition.
So what is a woman? Or what is a man?The answer is the mind of the human being. Is it male or is it female?
Who we all are is like love. It is impossible to describe but we know when we are in love just like we know who we are regardless of what body or shell we are in or what other people tell us.
