We have our first camping trip of the season this weekend. I am not a newbie, just binge watching camping videos because I am so excited! Late to the party but we are actually just using the plastic plates from target that are like $.50 a piece for our camp plates and bowls.

Well done! 4 kids is not easy. I am trying to convince my wife to go camping with the very small caravan. So for us, it is an upgrade :)
You can do it! My husband and I were talking about getting a camper van or pop up camper to make future camping trips easier. Maybe someday!

"listen, we're in our 30s now" girl, same. In my 20's I had no problems sleeping on the cold hard ground. Not anymore! REI sells a really nice queen size air mattress. It's a little pricey but worth it! It's the Kingdom Insulated Air Bed.
Ok I'm trying that next time. We ordered sleeping pads from Amazon and they were fine, but not great.
