I so totally agree with furniture flipping and even home decor flipping. If it works great. If it’s a fail. Oh well! Lol didn’t spend that much on it. And honestly I haven’t had furniture flips that I couldn’t fix and make great. I have had some home decor that I redid and later on changed my style and donated it. But that’s part of life. Really enjoyed going thru your transformations. Loved the little blue bookshelf you did early in the video. I have a really old IKEA bookshelf I am planning to change up for our newly painted den. Planning on a version of blue and you showed how I can really add some wood backing to the shelves to really update it. I really enjoy your ingenuity and eye for how certain pieces can be repurposed into our homes now.🤗

Or is it a sealer, and do you need to do any thing more on it after that. It doesn’t come off. I’ve not done that many d I y’s like in this fashion. All I ever did was sand, paint, and shellacked it. I don’t apply a thick layer if that’s what you’re asking. I just make sure that the surface has a nice even coverage all over. Hope that helps!

I believe we did 180 and then 220 grit if I remember correctly. Start with the lower number and finish with the higher one. ☺️
