I mean it was a little lucky tbh. There were 6 things Melbourne did wrong in the last quarter and had they not have done just one of them you would have lost. I hope you beat Brisbane though and it’s a Collingwood vs Carlton grand final. It would be insane.

Was blessed to be at the "G" amazing finish . Crazy scenes . The stadium erupted ,the stands where shaking, the noise level where of the charts . The blues supporters at the "G"witnessing something special . What a night, what a game. Carlton f.c ,you did us proud. Never give up,stronger together. Go baggers.
American here. The roar from the final siren and That Acres goal (which he had more time to steady and kick straighter; if you look back at it, he almost kicks in desperation and almost misses; thankfully he didn’t) reminded me of the 2 loudest roars from the crowd I have ever heard: Plugger’s point in the 1996 prelim, and Nick Davis’ last goal in 2005. Those were loud (I was at the SCG in 96), but this.. that was something special.

@@Jack-r2v9bExactly! He had time to take another 2 steps before kicking, plus he had taken the mark, so he could have opted for a set shot. But instead he kicked in desperation and almost hit the post.. thankfully he didn't.
had an open square, less than a minute to play, adrenalin overload - I totally understand why he played on! The footage from behind Acres shows the ball was never going to hit the post. All the other angles it looked dicey af lol

Charlie at chf and harry a ff that is how they should be played. Charlie can kick 60+ meter kick for goal, harry cant do that but he can be reliable up close. Having them play the other way around dosnt work as well as we thought it would. Joys of being an arm chair expert
