When I was younger, Jason came to my junior football club and did a clinic for us. It was a Mother's Day, and I was going out for lunch for my grandmother, and my coach told me to inform him that I was leaving. Jason, without skipping a beat proceeded to tell me. Wish your grandmother a happy day for me and that he had to ring his mother later in the day. I may be an Essendon fan but will never forget his kindness.

People keep saying the dogs are inconsistent. They had bad second-half fadeouts against Melbourne and Essendon earlier in the season, but they beat Gold Coast, smashed West Coast, ran Geelong to within a kick, belted St Kilda, lost a close game to Hawthorn (which doesn't look like such a bad loss now, considering the hawks recent form), lost a tough game to Freo in Perth, belted Richmond, beat GWS, lost to the Swans by 2 goals with 2 players down on the bench, beat Collingwood, had *one* absolute stinker against Brisbane and then destroyed Freo on the weekend. I count only 3 bad performances all season (Melbourne, Essendon, Brisbane), which isn't too bad 14 weeks into their season. And they have been playing much better over the past 6 weeks, ever since Ed Richards went into the midfield, so I think they are primed to be a finals team this year and a genuine premiership contender next year.

Which goes to prove that Kane Cornes went the crow to early and was hammering Beveridge at every loss suggesting he should be sacked and that he does his head in......but had he listened to the little genius last year he said he believed a group was coming together to challenge for a shot at a flag...And he has been ridiculed for dropping quality players and for not giving any reasons....and the Bulldog board have given him total solidarity.......if it was doing Cornes Head in before----Beveridge has turned him into a laughing stock a few short weeks later.....

Congratulations Chief, you deserve it and you are the reason why I follow the Hawks, hope that the young Hawthorn players follow your lead, you are a role model.

He’s way too humble about his ability’s. Im a die hard eagles supporter, but this dude should have been HOF his first year of eligibility, he was so dominant from 09-13. I know everyone says Pendlebury is the greatest pie, but for me it’s swanny. I will never forget that 2012 ANZAC day match, he just dominated like I hadn’t seen a midfielder at the time. Now I hope that the AFL does the right thing and puts Cousins in the HOF.

Not doubting for a second that he is a great player, but if you think a man who is involved in bashing a security guard , kicking him in the head while he is down in a group, leaving the man with permanent brain injuries and on top, bailing from paying compo and not showing a inch of remorse, if you think they deserve hall of fame recognition, you need to get a grip on reality.
