Because “Disney magic” is seeing characters and thinking they’re real. The kids aren’t excited because he doesn’t look as a character.
And I guess they still believe they are real not some just voiced. But tho the ones who grew up watching Disney sure knows and impressed as they should be.
Well think about it. Most of the generations who grew up with the cartoons and classic movies are adults now. If anything the adults are going to understand and appreciate these voices than kids are. Most of the kids growing up today don’t know who half these characters are.

I remember one time a Disneyland. It was night time right after fireworks so fantasy land was closed. But we needed to get in it. The electrical parade was about to start and we wanted to see it. But also wanted to ride Peter Pan. We got into fantasy land by using a long passage way. And we asked a lady how to get to Peter Pan. She said it was closed for a couple of mins. And the electrical parade was about to start. So we had to wait for it too open! Of course Peter Pan is the longest wait like ever. So we where still standing at the lady (helper) and she told us that it's going to be a very long wait. So she asked me if I believed in magic and I said yes. And she paused and she asked for my card. And she took a second. And she said she gave us a fast pass and she said keep believing in magic. So we thanked her and we got to ride the ride very soon! She did not make us pay for a fast pass! But we saw the electrical parade. And remember _Always_ *Believe* _in_ *Magic*
