I learned both Africa and Circle of Life for different choir events. I just had two extreme flashbacks. Help the trauma Africa gave me learning the alto part for "Da da da da da da da da da da da da daa da-daa. Daa da-dal-a da da da da da da da da do-do-do-do-do-do-do bah! Da-da-da da-da-da da-da-da da-da-da da da da! Hurry boy she's waiting therefor you!" That part alone took weeks to learn because we were singing as the music omg. And then Circle of Life being the start of a TEN MINUTE MEDLEY and my harmonies being so awful literally whyyyyy
