CC's(Contingency Contracts) are basically exams for us to test how big brain we are. These themes are hype music, if you read the lyrics it tells us to "never give up" and to be " ignited by a burning desire"
One thing to know about these: with only maybe 1 or 2 exceptions, the CC lobby music just KEEPS GETTING BETTER with each one. My favorites are 6 and 11. Hope you react to the others but if not, listen to them on your own time cause they're excellent
TLDR for cc3, they found a guy to make the music, not knowing that the guy hates arknights, so he just copied it from someone and called it job done. it got deleted quickly after arknights team found out

The plagiarized CC song that they are talking about was the original song that was used for the trailer of CC Cinder (CC#3) - there are two of it (both were intended as battle BGM, not lobby BGMs, unlike what are being featured here).
But don't worry, the songs here have no problem, if you got claimed, it's a false claim (I hope) because there's a company who is claiming these songs (they do not own the OSTs).
The yoyorock or whatever it's called thing? Are they still claiming even though they don't have the rights?
'Contingency Contract' are basically Arknights' late game events meant to challenge players that come around every so often. You're given 'contracts' designed to either strengthen enemies, weaken or restrict your units, alter the map or something to mix the experience and challenge when compiling more and more of them together for a stage. These themes play at the lobby, the event's menu screens while you're choosing contracts and setting up teams. Since the player's usually sitting there strategizing for a while, they get to listen to these play out while doing so.

Well since you mention Made in Abyss, last year Kevin Penkin, the composer for Made in Abyss actualy composed a theme for one of the character, so if you happen to react to them it's the one call "Heal the World".

Currently the lobby theme for CC is 0 to 11 as CC#11 is the latest in CN

And no, the OSTs that are being featured here are all primarily lobby BGMs. But all trailers do use the lobby BGMs, except for CC Spectrum (CC#5) who uses their bat BGM.
CC8 Dawnseeker's battle theme gave me the motivation to push past risk 18 for the first time and it was so damn fun. Music really sets the vibe of the experience.
Sadly, there are no visual or sorts for these CC OSTs, the closest to one are their respective trailers, but I know that's not what you're looking for. There is one for Operation Pyrite (CC#1) that was performed during Ambience Synesthesia.
As for lyrics, you can find one just from searching in CZcams, but the official lyrics are shown in the official Monster Siren Records website for the OSTs.

Operation Pyrite is a huge fan favorite for CC, and has a longer version of it definitely worth hearing.
The CC#1 OST you've listened to is the short version. There's a longer version on CZcams.

iirc the only video of Ambience Synesthesia in YT is not uploaded by Yostar or Hypergryph or something close
So, Contingency Contract is, like the rest of the game, still tower defense, but there are a bunch of challenge, or risk tags you can mix and match to customize difficulty, like banning entire classes or giving key enemies increased damage and bulk, amongst many others. In this sense, Blade's ost is the quintessential CC song because it is about downgrading your units and facing enemies who are metaphorically (and sometimes literally) on fire.

No, lore-game wise: Contingency Contract is a independent network not bound by politics founded by catastrope messengers to dealt with catastrope. organization or individual can request task on the network with appropriate reward. that's Contingency Contract. not some shady company- but a network. these messenger risk their life to bring the news of next catastrope that's going to happen in order to save million life.
and CC blade has no metaphoric it's literally red [BLADE] avenger theme. story in "light spark in darkness" event did further proofing that "Art of Blade" is definitly red avenger theme

Idk if it's possible (since Unreal Dreamer has done it), but you should try reacting to the first Arknights Concert (Ambience Synesteshia). It's free on bilibili. Honestly the best live concert ever, the production, the stage, were unreal. CC1 (pyrite) live performance was so good with live audience singing along.
It's so good that even as niche as it is, it got nominated in Holywood Music Media awards for Visual Medium category.

The "drama" with the song ain't much of a drama but just a guy that was malicious.
This 'producer' had openly hated Arknights and all related to HG in the past, everyone knew he was shitting on the game constantly, and suddenly he applied to make the OST of these CCs, which the people at Arknights actually agree (I guess they didn't check his background), he then proceeded to make a 'banger' but people started seeing BLATANT copy+pastes of an other trance producer and ultimately they saw that indeed the themes were TOO SIMILAR, not just an "inspiration" or ode, so they got the songs out and proceeded to make even better ones. The guy appareantly tried to actively make Arknights look bad - that's being just miserable.
Also no, they can't claim these songs, don't worry - they're the event lobby themes btw, but these are incomplete versions. The last one had a moment with drums, piano, more voices in canon... etc. It's a pity!
You really should check out the EPs!
So the CC OST is the main hub theme for the event, meaning you picked your challenges and prepared for the stage while vibing to this music. These songs are used in the trailer, but they are not exactly trailer music.
As for CC battle OST, I highly reccomend it. CC Spectrum's (CC#5) battle ost has one of my favorite tracks in the entire game, its amazing
As for the songs, Operation Blade (CC#2 OST) was the main reason people realized the Arknights ost was so good. To this day, this song is probably the most well-known Arknights song.

2 months late to the video here, but we literally just finished CC#10 Ashring on Global. If you haven't watched the "CC Lobby Theme be Like" at 5:35, I highly recommend you do. They are hilarious and perfectly fitting.
And since it's prolly been brought up, CC#1 Pyrite and CC#8 Dawnseeker are my two favorites. It was just Pyrite at the top for a long time, until Dawnseeker got leaked for Global and the more I heard it, the more I loved it. It's still on my CZcams Mix when I'm driving.
After those two, my next favorites would be CC# 5 Spectrum and CC#7 Pine Soot. Spectrum was the techno fix I'd been missing in this game, and Pine Soot was me being glad they brought the rock back.
Then my 3rd place entries would be CC#2 Blade and CC#9 Deepness. Deepness in particular was one that seriously grew on me during the event's run. The "Lobby Theme Be Like" section for it focuses on the rap portion which in my opinion isn't the highlight.
Then there's kind of this middle ground for CC#0 Barrenlands, CC#4 Lead Seal, and CC#6 Wild Scales. CC#10 Ashring also prolly falls here. It's not bad to listen to, but I don't love it like higher entries.
Then you might be surprised to know the CC Lobby exists even when there are no events running, and the "Off Season" Lobby has its own theme. It's at my #5 spot.
And lastly, CC#3 Cinder sits at the bottom. The lobby theme gels well with the overall tone of Arknights itself, but the CC lobby themes are all more "energetic", so Cinder really kills the mood, so to speak. I am not a fan.
And while CC#11 Fake Waves has been leaked to CZcams, I still am not sure where it'll end up going on my list. The melody is sick, but the vocals kinda sway back and forth between being good and just kind of ok. I'll prolly like it more when I'm hearing it during the actual event, like Dawnseeker and Deepness; if I had to guess *now* , I'd put it in the #3 spot next to Blade and Deepness.
If you look under some on the compilations people tend to put the lyrics either in the comments or the description

There are CC songs with visualisers made by someone, but they're not grouped into a compilation.
If you want visuals, react to the arknights concert! Its got a live audience so you can see and feel the hype

There is no visuals but its imo the player rising to the challenge that is CC btw you nailed the cc3 theme on what its for with the menu thing. But basically all these are for that reason in a way imo.
You should try CC#3, the 2 removed version due to the license ( I kinda like these 2 version)

Made in Abyss hits DIFFERENT, don't let the cutesy style fool you. CC3's theme threw me off, it was my first CC and my team was pretty weak so my rear was getting roasted to cinders so this music just compounded the emotional damage 😆

If you type in "cc blade" and "cc lead seal" you can find animations from a person called arknightsu. Great for the visuals you wanted but only for those two sadly.

To fill in the story regarding CC#3 Lobby Theme. This isn't totally accurate but if someone can validate with me it would be nice.
So what actually heard here with CC#3 wasn't the original CC#3 Lobby Theme but was rushed out to replaced it due to a plagiarism (about 1 week to event release).
I can't remember the detail but CC#3 Lobby Theme was made by a composer who hated Arknights and was planned to use this opportunity to sabotage the game and the HyperGryph.
So the composer pretend to be a 'fan' of the game and want to compose a track for Arknights (Somehow it landed on CC#3)
It was picked up by alot of Chinese players who felt something was just too familiar and when dug deeper and found out who made it as was having lots of hate to Arknights for some reason.
The Chinese players notify HyperGryph in regards to the situation when the trailer was release thus was taken down immediately and now the replaced CC#3 Lobby Theme we have now, thus why CC#3 have the most underwhelming (in my opinion) and polar opposite both the Lobby Theme and the Battle Theme + Map Theme.
Up till now the composer is still blacklisted by HyperGryph and hope it stays that way.
False. The song that was replaced--and was the source of the plagiarism issues--was the battle music. This was always going to be the lobby theme. Every time CC#3 shows up someone always spreads this misinformation.
