AK music has *a lot* of diversity in its catalog. There's practically something for any music listener in there. And I think that's part of why Arknights music has such a widespread appeal.
A ton of variety in its sound, and most (if not all) of it sounds fantastic.
People have only been recommending him similar stuff up until now because they thought he would only like rock/metal music, but there's way more to arknights than just that.
To answer your thought about how you don't know what each CC theme is based on, they're typically reflective of the mindset of one of the major enemies featured in each CC, where this one was definitely about the Hateful Avenger who re-appears later. The other themes can be a bit more archaic as to who they represent, but that's usually the pattern they follow. Dawnseeker in particular is one of my favorites because it's a much more defeatist song lyrically, and is more representative of a character who isn't that much of a highlight in that CC.

Fun Fact, this song is about the same character as Operation Basepoint, he is such a chad that he gets 2 theme songs.
On a side note, you skipped CC 0, the lobby theme is Operation Barrenland.

5:32 Operation Blade is about a creep with the power to one shot your defender.
Some of the lyrics (most) indicate that the song is about him. A good example is "Yes I'm on fire" pair with the part when he is down to 50% HP, his sword started to burn and your whole defense line is just gone.

Ho man, you will be surprised by how many genres AK OSTs have if not already.
this song is sung from the perspective of an elite enemy called "hateful avenger" that was featured on this song's event (operation blade). The enemy is known for being an absolute menace capable of going around one hitting stuff once his hp goes below 50% (igniting his katana on fire).
Operation Basepoint is also sung from the perspective of this enemy, a while after operation blade, that's why the song talks about revenge and coming back (and also the futility of revenge for the sake of revenge). The enemy in basepoint, now much stronger, is a boss called "The Avenger" having similar abilities but incredibly more powerful
Blade also describes the entirety of Red saving Susie at the climax of A Light Spark in Darkness.

Blade is still my favorite of the CC themes. Dawnseeker and Pine Soot have come the closest but Blade's lyrics are so good
I like some other themes more but if someone says "Arknights song" I think "I'm on fire"
People joke that AK is a music production company disguised as a video game, which has layers because there Is an actual production company within the game itself (run by a talking emperor penguin in a tupac shirt with a gun) called Monster Siren Records (MSR) which is what Hypergyph (actual game dev company) releases its EPs under on platforms like Spotify. My favorite genre songs in the AK playlist include: country rock, Actual Latin Dirge, Russian lullaby, 2000s punk rock, operatic rock musical, experimental indie Chinese electro fusion, folk songs, and r&b. I really love how they are just not afraid to do absolutely Whatever The Fuck They Want when it comes to the music they put out.
Anyways, i think most of the fandom agrees that CC Blade is the GOAT of the lobby themes. There are some really great ones alongside it, but they never quite go This hard. I think Deepness has to be my personal favorite though, I can't wait to see your response to the rest!
I've already heard a few of the CC themes, so if you haven't poked around my other uploads you should give a look 🤘. Deepness, Pyrite and Basepoint i remember for SURE but there might be another my shoddy memory is forgetting 🫠

People have probably told you this but contingency contracts have two themes: lobby and combat. Combat themes are absolutely worth checking out too!

We've recommended you things that we know you'd enjoy a lot. But as often said, Arknights indeed has a lot of genra music it covers. From Opera to hard rock, to electro to dubstep to whatevergenrayouwantjustnameit. I'm sure listening to all CC themes will prove you that and convince you even more to continue Arknights reacts!
May I recommend Dawnseeker next (after Cinder) ? It's the CC#8 theme.

CC theme its like the Lobby Theme that plays for a minigame called Condigency Contract that it happens at 3/4 mounths on the game we recommend the cc 12 theme cuz it the last we have (arknights companny hypergriff said cc12 was the last so we waiting for more even tho it ended) but the funny thing you will know arknights doesnt have a gender for music they do a bunch of bangers with diferent genders and i think ppl prob recommend by what they see what song you most liked so i recommend now my top 5 (sorry to bothering a bit)

I think you'll really enjoy going through the Contingency Contract Lobby themes, they do a decent job of showing how varied & at times experimental Arknight's range of musical themes are. Many of them representative of characters, groups or events from the game too, and yet still manage to be amazingly well produced! Recommending what might be considered to your liking is how people pull you in before hitting you with a curveball, like Spark for Dream or Magic Theorem. The concert version of this one was amazing as well, I actually don't know which I prefer more of the two!

This one is BY FAR my favorite CC lobby theme. The vibe it has is great, the piano goes so hard, and the song just has such a smug attitude that I cant help but jam along
Today was the first time I actually listened to this theme as I wasn't playing when this CC happened and it absolutely caught me off guard lmao

The CC themes are well... Themed basically. This and blade point are about specific characters, but the rest are (I think)just themed around the places they're set in and the other events that come before and after their corresponding CC events.
Also there actually are classical pieces, though I can't spell them for the life of me.

Just a headup, since you're planning to do all CC lobby theme, each one of them are very very different in style.
The only ones with some parallels are 5 and 8, with both playing in Kazimierz
lezzgooo! for this mini contingency contract series, i probably recommend skipping cc#3 cinder since the original ost had some copyright/trademark issues because of various reasons. the ost that we do get is basically just a replacement because of it. you can still listen to the original one called "cc#3 cinder legacy ost" or something.

Since you're likely hearing them anyways the difference between cc4 lead seal, cc5 spectrum and cc6 wild scales lobby themes is quite stark, so surely that will be a fun whiplash for you to experience just a bit of the wide range of genres ak music handles
As good as all the CC themes are, this one still remains my favorite. There's just something about the way it hits all throughout.
