This 2016 Ford Transit Custom 2.2 TDCi 290 L2H1 Limited 5dr is a very rare Van having a rear load area of L 9'- 3" x H 4'-5" x W 4'-6" It is very economical for the size of the vehicle and will return up to 48.7 Mpg depending of course on the load you are carrying. This van would make the ideal base for a Camper Van conversion, not least because it is VAT free and will effectively be 20% cheaper than the equivalent Plus VAT vehicle for a private person. It is finished in Deep Impact Metallic Blue which is a Lovely colour and it has Grey Cloth Upholstery. Just because its a van doesn't mean that you cant have your creature comforts, and this one is fitted with Air Con, Heated Drivers Seat, Heated Front Windscreen, Front and Rear Parking Sensors along with a Reversing Camera whose monitor is integrated into the Rear View Mirrors. Cruise Control is mounted on one side of the height and reach adjustable steering wheel, on the other side are the controls for the Handsfree Bluetooth Telephone and Audio Streaming System. The Bench Seat has a fold-down section in the middle to hold your cargo list and 2 cups, and the Drivers Seat has an adjustable Armrest. At the business end you have Twin Full Doors, a Side Loading Door on the Passenger side, Resin Easy Clean Floor, Ply Lining and an Under Seat Load Through Flap. There is a Tow Bar fitted to ensure you don't damage the bumper should you choose to ignore the reversing sensors and the rearview camera :-)

Hey Barrie quick question/suggestion. Maybe it’s also a possibilty for you to start making POV video’s as you already have all the equipment and also because there are nearly no POV video’s on the previous generation Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports for example. Only the new models. I’m sure that it’ll give your channel atleast a small boost. The only problem for you I think is the lack of time so no problem if it isn’t possible for you to make POV video’s! Yet another very informative video.. Wish I came across this channel years ago.. Quick question Barrie. Is the older 2.2 chain driven engine better than the newer 2.0 wet belt drive engines? I'm hearing they can snap meaning a new engine. Your honest opinion please? Thanks mate.
Yes i personally think it is, I have heard of a few engine failures which surprises me, but its all down to manufactures trying to get smaller engines to do too much
@@BarrieCrampton Indeed.. I looked at a few transit customs last few weeks and I'm surprised how so many dodn't know about the Wet belt issue so it doesn't inspire me to get one. I would rather go for the older more reliable engine. However getting one that's ULEZ compliant is not an easy find. Any thoughts on the Vito or Vivaro?
