The actors are great and have demonstrated exceptional chemistry and acting in previous seasons.
I think the failure of the 9th series is due to the production team.
It's not just about Harvey and Donna. They turned Louis into a jester, and neither Mike, Kathrina, and Samantha aren't what they used to be.
What a weird conversation 😂 Your dad says he’s got misgivings about your boyfriend. But instead of trying to talk that through with your dad you put it aside and then go to your boyfriend and accuse him of not wanting to form a relationship with your dad 😂 Honestly, how did we get from A to B here? This plays out as if Harvey didn’t just tell Donna the other morning that he’d be willing to go out to eat with Donna and her dad as long as Donna told her dad about them first.
Donna didn't try to convince him, because she knew her father's misgivings were warranted, from the point-of-view of a loving and concerned father. Harvey's not an easy man-- he's tricky. Yes, he loves Donna, and yes, he'd take a bullet for her, but he's tricky. Being willing to go out to eat with her and her parent isn't the same thing as having an active effort to repair a fractured relationship.
That wasn’t fair on Harvey at all. Donna could have easily asked Harvey if he could try and build a rapport with her father for the benefit of them both, but instead made it out to be Harvey’s fault that her dinner with her dad didn’t go according to plan. Quite selfish on her part in my opinion.
And using his relationship with his mother as a cheap shot. I keep saying it. She’s actually one of the worst characters on the show. A judgmental know-it-all who never holds herself to the same standard she holds everyone else to.

It *wasn't* fair of her, which is why Harvey talked to her about it and she told him she'd try to do better. Harvey threw Huntley in Donna's face in season three, simply because Donna stood up for Scottie (and she was right to).
I swear the comments on Donna's flaws must come from people who never watched the show, because every single character in it lashes out when they're upset, *all of them*, but people act like Donna invented the shortcoming.
It wasn't right, but the main reason for Donna's anger was not her father but the fact that Faye wants to take her vote and she hides this from Harvey for fear that he will disappoint her and not support her. This video is not complete but if you've seen the show, you should know.

Have to agree wasn't right putting all the blame on Harvey of not getting along with her father and Harvey said exactly what her father would say and he said what Harvey told her so she didn't like to be wrong in this one. Not everyone will get along with the spouses father or mother and father in law or mother in law so I'm on Harvey's side in this one.
It seems like Donna would like to satisfy her father despite her true heart feeling. I get Donna's father point of view, but Harvey don't would that on Donna

Any sensible person (even unbiased women) will know donna doesn't deserve harvey. Mainly because of the way her character developed in seasons 8 and 9.. Just completely selfish and awful personality
