Show Synopsis: "Suits" delves into the fast-paced, high-stakes world of a top Manhattan corporate law firm where hotshot associate Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht, “Love & Other Drugs”) makes a risky move by hiring Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams, “Old School”) a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, as his associate. As he becomes enmeshed in this unfamiliar world, Mike relies heavily on the firm’s best paralegal Rachel (Megan Markle, “Horrible Bosses”) and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna (Sarah Rafferty, “Brothers & Sisters”) to help him serve justice. With a photographic memory and the street smarts of a hustler, Mike proves to be a legal prodigy despite the absence of bonafide legal credentials.

The fact that Donna is getting all this hate despite actively trying to talk about what happened and work it out, while every other character can go around breaking laws and backstabbing each other and still get treated like heroes by fans is pretty sus
Yeah it’s called misogyny. The users who hate her use abusive language and gendered slurs for women. One loser even admitted he gets gratification from reading anti Donna comments on CZcams. It’s gross. These losers will never have the same energy for serial killers, murderers or abusers but will obsessively hate a poorly written female character by a mediocre male writer with a few minutes of screen time.
Let me guess ur gender
U R A WOMAN
She knew Harvey for a long time so it's obvious that she knows about the history he has with his mother
Kissing him while him being in a relationship is just making him that one thing he never wanted to be
"what happened" is her kissing Harvey while he is in a relationship
@@uzzy_787ut it's fair that Paula knowingly put herself between two people she knew loved each other, and instead of helping Harvey, who she knows is in denial, she manipulates him into firing Donna?

I've read the title as "Harvey and Donna Get Weird Suits" and was waiting five minutes to see the weird suits.
Donna was loyal and fair. And how much she worked for Harvey and how much worked for Louis. He never lied and when he was wrong he admitted He always had the courage to say what he believed in front of Jessica and Robert, and he also supported those around him. He always tried to get Harvey and Louis to get along, to keep the company going.
Even if you don't like it, you should still be fair and objective
Donna is one half of the reason I watch this show! Best character 👏🏻
Jessica holds that position
I love Donna and her chemistry with Harvey
I got to hand it to you Liz...this relationship dynamic was like dropping a veritable hand-grenade into the mental health of all lawyers...none of them are right in the head anymore...so thanks for that.
Who is Liz?
A lot of people hate Donna, maybe because somethings she does are a mirror to what they think or do
You mean the opposite? I think the reason people dislike donna is because she’s a hypocrite at times and lets her power get to her.
The Donna hate in the comment section is wild 😭
Cause it's deserving 😌
@@vybhavchaturvedi399 its not.
@@celinemssth yes it is someone who isnt a lawyer wants to do lawyer things and messes things up constally FOR the lawyers. Shes already a sectary who makes 6 figures for her it isnt enough AND she wants more? Talk to me straight Celine
@@celinemssth Yes it is.
Donna is the most interesting character on Suits and the most fun.
Almost every other character on the show: relentless backsliding into terrible behavior, legal and moral grey areas, shouting, lying, backstabbing and fighting each other.
Some fans: no biggie.
Donna: impulsively kissed her best friend and one time lover, tried to talk it out, tried to move past it, was chastised and realized she needed to apologize. Apologized and resigned.
The same fans: Attention: If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with Donna's unforgivable mistakes you may to be entitled to financial compensation...
The majority of the fanbase hates Donna for how she basically rocketshipped her career in the later seasons, which is kind of fair. That said, the betrayal stems from the issues that Harvey has with infidelity as a whole is largely where the betrayal comes from.
Donna is the best character in this show.
I missed the first 2 seasons so much.
why???
Donna rocks!
not gonna lie I was pretty surprised when Donna didn't try to twist this whole kissing situation into Harvey being at fault
Why would you say that? She was always fair and objective with everyone.
Not all females have a revenge complex towards men like you see in current media.
@@user-yy2zz7wk1z that's not the point they are making i think, it's the fact that Donna was a great character, then grew into the most obnoxious power hungry gaslighter in the show, right after rachel tbh
Well, she kind of did? Like, she didnt' try to blame him for her kissing him specifically. On the other hand, she kind of reduced his reaction at her actions to just "throwing a tantrum about her putting her needs over his". This clip here is incomplete because right after the interview, they actually have a conversation in the lobby where she's like "It was just a kiss, Harvey, we've done more than that!".
This is the thing that really makes her very unlikeable in this season.
This show does get a lot of things right when it comes to how we should treat others around us but its treatment of cheating and infidelity never really made sense. It always put the one who got cheated on at fault for not being forgiving.
@@mousedorff453 I don't think it was so much about blaming the betrayed in cases of infidelity, it just wasn't as well written as it could have been about the value of letting go of that kind of hurt.
I mean the cheaters all ended up doing the right thing in the end--Louis was willing to let Sheila go, Mike took a beating and said he deserved it, Harvey apologized to Louis for his behavior with Esther, Rachel confessed to Mike and fought for her relationship, and Donna was shamed by Harvey and Louis, and apologized multiple times and when that wasn't enough she was willing to give up the job that felt like her only consolation for years of devoted work.
Even Harvey's mother was able to fully apologize before Harvey let what she did to him go.
Definitely not perfectly written, but you know I guess this is one of the few shows where people who mess up badly in this way weren't dehumanized. Some cheaters are just sociopaths, but it's likely most of them are people waking up to a world of wreckage they caused and I guess I'd like to think if you're truly sorry, there's light at the end of the tunnel.
Episode ??
Donna's SO HOT
Is there going to be a season 2 or what..?
theres 9
This is from season 7
Is it Louis or Lewis??😊
Harvey may have been wrong for not focusing on finding a new partner, but Donna's actions make no sense to me. She sets up an interview he doesn't know about. And she knows he's not interested in doing it. Then she gives him an ultimatum.
In the entirity of Suits, Lewis's suits were the worst fitting I've ever seen! Either a size too small (as in this clip) or a size too big!
Louis for men
Paula for women
I honestly didn't like Donna in this season. Selfish and egostic.
Donna's mistake was not premeditated. She kissed Harvey, influenced by Mike's advice and Louis' dialogue. But what Paula did was premeditated. The discussion about Donna's dismissal could have taken place another time, for example, when Harvey asked her if she wanted to be with him . But she believed that once she met his mother, their relationship had already moved to another level and she had the right to set conditions, and she even thought she would be chosen. The real selfish was Paula.p
@@simone3633 nooooo
@@nomis5097 Does leaving a person without a job to appease her insecurities make her altruistic?
i honestly dont like u overall
I just hated Donna after she acting like this and messed up things between Harvey and Paula
She didn't do sh*t.Paula always knew Harvey loves Donna.Just because she is an insecure hag, doesn't give her the right to take someone's job.
Idiot. That woman was a creep who dated her patient despite knowing he is madly in love with Donna.
Men are so complicated
Not really.
She is a little home wrecker..donna is a manipulative persn
And, Harvey ISN'T?
@@merlin9943 Not intentionally, no. Harvey has made it clear that he would never have any kind of relationship with a married woman or a woman in a relationship with another man. It's very likely that he asks the women he gets together with if they are actually married/in a relationship.
@@merlin9943 Harvey isn't perfect, but he's twice the man anyone on the show is
Donna is the worst character in the world .
nah dude. she got a posistion did not fit to do properly. and it killed off her wibe as an character. when she was just the secretary? she was on top of the world baby
@@jarlsigurdstorvann9885 when she was a secretary, she acted like she was superior to everyone and like she knew everything. When she made mistakes , she never admits to them and always plays the victim. And that whole the donna subplot was dreadful
@@allindbz i for one dont say she never made mistake. because she made a couple of mistakes. but she was superior to other secretarys because that is how writers of the show wanted her to be perceived. from the very start she came into the show, she was the queen evryone looked up to because in her own sort of special way, she was bossy, she owned the situations and dialogues that came about when stuff went down. but that is who she was. the queen of secretarys above evryone else. when she wanted something outside being a secretary, she lost alot of value being "Donna". because she didn have the education and training stepping into the lawyers world being the CEO and what not.
@@jarlsigurdstorvann9885 couple? Aside Mike's trial every other big crisis the firm or Harvey had to deal with was her fault
And even with Mike's trial she made things worse with her botched up testimony
@@user-mx4is4fx3c she made a couple of mistakes. she wasent the worst character of the show who made the most mistakes. Louis made the same mistake evry 3 episode evry new season for example. he was funny. possibly the funniest character of the show. but he was alittle insecure beta male who stabbed evryone in the back when he thought he would gain on it. couple of times Donna made mistakes that Harvey had to clean up. but it was only a few. there were in fact others who was 2-4 times worse then Donna.
I like how the Donna fans are going into damage control in the comments section for this video, it's truly pathetic and shows how insecure they truly are.
Please get a life.
Ur the one joblessly spamming the comment section with triggered comments over a female character on a show that ended over 4 years ago. That is pathetic and insecure.
