I am a card carrying member of the BBN. I personally like Cal, but I do think it was time for a change….for him, for the program, and for the fans. I hope he has great success with Arkansas and wins every game except for when it is against KY. Good luck to Ellen and her roommate (as she refers to Cal on social media)!! All the best

It seems Cal made a decision to transition to a different program that might be less demanding or have lower expectations compared to BBN. It's not uncommon for people to make such decisions when they feel that the current expectations are too high or not aligned with their goals or abilities. Making a change to a program that better suits one's needs and capabilities can lead to a more fulfilling experience.

Don’t plan on winning any championships with his one and done coaching. It was time for a change at UK. We are tired of starting over every year. Talent doesn’t win, teamwork does! Good luck Cal!

I've been a UK fan since 1995. . . . . . . I watched "The door" back in 2009. .. . . . The past 15 years have been extremely awesome. . . . . I thought Coach Cal would retire at UK. I never expected Coach Cal to coach at another SEC (especially a rival school). He is the greatest coach at UK since Adolph Rupp. . . . .. . . .. Congrats, Arkansas, you all got a DANG good coach! I hope you all win an NCAA Championship before we get our 9th.
We do have 1 NCAA Men Basketball national championship and a very respectable amount of sweet 16s, elite 8 and final 4s. The covert wasn't bare. But I believe as a school Arkansas has the most NCAA national championships in combined athletics than any other team in the SEC so don't brag to hard about your 8 BBNC'S.

@king.kentucky1320 Yall wont add to your total 13 NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS all sports combined before we get number 53. Probably before we get 54, 55, 56.....King...lol. Kentucky put all of thier eggs in one basket and achieved 8 titles in basket. 5 in other sports all time...lol. We have 10 NCAA national championships in collegiate sports since you won your last. And we have 3 sweet 16s and 2 elite 8s since the last time Kentucky even won a game in the big dance. All sports combined, Arkansas destroys Kentucky.

Honestly Cal had so many great players the last few years and still couldnt get it done...........He expects all his freshmen to leave for the pros.....Thats his gig...Getting freshmen to the pros...He lost his way about who pays him to win games..

Little ole Arkansas has 52 National Championships in college athletics in 6 different sports. The most national championships of ANY team in the SEC. How many Kentucky got? I believe that would be 13....total. Thank goodness you have a good basketball team historically. Arkansas has a fantastic basketball history AND recent success. 2 Elite 8s and a sweet 16 in 3 of the last 4 years. When is the last time Kentucky made it out of the 1st round? Arkansas has won at least 10 NC's since Kentucky won their last. Being a Kentucky fan doesn't make you special...lol.

@user-wq7do6jb3k thats correct, the majority are. Kentucky recently spent 22 million on thier track and field facilities. No more eggs in one basket...lol. It is still, however you want to look at it a more successful school.
